Good news, our dear friends! How are you? On behalf of our Voice of Carmona (VOCS): Congratulations to Mr. Florante (Ogie) Alumia (VOCS’ President and CEO since 1998 to present) for officially buying today his first 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid Trailsport (All Wheel Drive/AWD; and Automatic Transmission).
Florante is paying his brand-new CR-V from his own personal and private money. This vehicle is not a property of VOCS. But Florante also uses his CR-V for VOCS’ purposes for free or without payment from VOCS. That’s okay.
OFFICIAL FACTS ABOUT FLORANTE ALUMIA AND HIS BRAND-NEW HONDA CR-V
1. Florante’s 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid is an SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle). It is a combination of a car, van and pick-up truck. Florante’s CR-V is only CAD$57,000 or PHP2.5 million! The original price was C$65,000 or P2.8 million. Florante saved C$8,000 or P350,000! Yay! Florante only paid C$5,000 or P215,000 for downpayment. Wow! Florante’s monthly payment is only C$800 or P34,000 per month for seven years.
2. Florante’s car loan application took only thirty minutes. The next day, his car loan of C$57,000 or P2.5 million was approved. After 2 days (today), Florante picked up his CR-V. It is his great surprise for his wife and their only child. They do not know about his CR-V. That’s okay.
3. Everything in Florante’s CR-V is “power” or automatic. Like power windows, power brakes, power doors, power steering, cruise control, backup camera, sunroof/moon roof, dashboard camera, etc. Florante’s CR-V can drive anywhere (called "all-terrain, off-road or All Wheel Drive/AWD"), like on the snow, mountains, floods, rivers, deserts, beaches, etc. Florante’s CR-V has no car key. But Florante needs to keep a “fob” or keychain in his pocket, because his CR-V is wireless. Florante only touches his CR-V door handle to unlock and to lock the door. To start the engine, he only pushes a button, and there is no key.
4. Florante’s CR-V was built here in Canada. His CR-V Hybrid is C$12,000 or P520,000 more expensive than a regular CR-V, because Florante’s CR-V is Hybrid. It uses both gasoline and electricity. The costs of Florante’s CR-V gas are about 50% cheaper than a regular CR-V. No need to charge Florante’s CR-V in an electrical outlet. Because it has a very special battery.
5. The engine of Florante’s CR-V has 204 HP (horsepower). It is more powerful than a Honda HR-V and Honda Civic, which both have 158 HP only. His CR-V is also more powerful than Honda Accord, which only has 192 HP.
6. Florante and his wife bought their first car (2007 Honda Accord) in 2006, with a total cost of C$40,000 or P1.7 million only. Florante’s CR-V now is C$10,000 or P430,000 more expensive than a regular Honda Accord. Florante always considers his CR-V and their Accord as great investments. Because Florante mainly uses his CR-V and Accord for work purposes. Florante’s CR-V and Accord are not luxuries. They are great necessities here in Canada.
7. This year (2026), Honda CR-V is the best selling vehicle in the USA. Last year (2025), more than fifteen million Honda CR-Vs were sold worldwide. This year (2026), Honda CR-Vs were sold more than Toyota RAV4s. Attached are the documents and links.
8. Only Florante and their only child are driving their 2026 Honda CR-V and 2007 Honda Accord. Florante‘s wife is not yet a licensed driver. Florante is a Retired Registered Nurse (RN) since 2022. He was an RN for thirty years: RN for nineteen years in Canada, and RN for eleven years in the Philippines. Since 2024 to present, Florante has been a Registered Health Care Assistant (HCA ) here in Vancouver, British Columbia (BC), Canada.
9. Since 1998 to present, Florante has been the President and CEO (Director) of our Voice of Carmona (Canada). Since 2014 to present, Florante has a total investment of C$48,447 (P1.84 million) to Voice of Carmona (VOCS). Since 2014 to present, Florante invests with an average of C$400 or P15,000 every month to VOCS.
10. Florante has a lifetime membership with Mensa Canada Society (high IQ people or very intelligent people); Humanist Canada (national), and British Columbia Humanist Association (Canada): provincial. Florante has an IQ of 130 plus or Genius IQ. The Genius IQ starts at an IQ of 125.
11. Florante and his own family live since 2001 to present here in Surrey, British Columbia (BC), Canada. Florante’s wife has been a Registered Nurse (RN) for twenty years now in Canada. This September, their only child will start his Doctor of Pharmacy course or program (total of six years).
