Honestly, since my elementary school until my high school, I favoured Rizal only. In my college years, I favoured Bonifacio only. After my college, I favoured Aguinaldo only. But since our Voice of Carmona’s (VOCS’) foundation in 1998 to present, I love all of them very much! I do not have a favouritism among them since 1998 to present.

In fact, the cover page of our VOCS’ initial (launching) newsmagazine on Oct. 15, 1998 had a very big photo of Rizal, Bonifacio & Aguinaldo. It was very memorable & historic.

Correcting our World History

1. Since my childhood to present, some Filipinos are very regionalistic about national heroes. For examples, some people of Cavite favour General Emilio Aguinaldo, because he was born in the Province of Cavite. Some residents of Manila favour Andres Bonifacio, because he was born in the City of Manila. Some people of Laguna favour Dr. Jose Rizal, because he was born in the Province of Laguna.

We Need to Correct our World History and Education

1. General Emilio Aguinaldo: First President of Republic of the Philippines, 1898-1901.

Truths: Aguinaldo was a great Filipino leader and politician who fought first against Spain, and later, against the United States of America (USA) for independence of the Philippines. Aguinaldo liberated the whole Philippines in 1898 from Spain.

Consequences: Because of Aguinaldo, the Philippines had an official independence from Spain on June 12, 1898. Aguinaldo defeated the Spanish in the Philippines in 1898. Without Aguinaldo, the Philippines will not be independent from Spain.

Voice of Carmona is hoping that you and your loved ones are healthy and safe always. Our national, provincial and local government worldwide are mainly responsible in providing the basic services, programs, projects, etc., to our citizens or our people. They are also mainly responsible in providing the services and information about our safety, preparations and readiness, related to the earthquakes, floods or other calamities.

However, our citizens or our people are also responsible in protecting and in saving themselves, their loved ones and our countrymen, especially during any emergency.

HISTORY AND MILESTONES OF OUR VOICE OF CARMONA 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓🍽
January 1998: A very dedicated group of young people (youth) in Carmona, Cavite, Philippines planned to create a nationalistic association in Carmona, Cavite. They also planned to create a local but nationalistic publication that will be nationwide very soon. Their nationalistic leaders were Florante Alumia, RN; Atty. Arman Laurito, Atty. Roderick Laurito, Engr. Peter John Diaz, Franie Maquinay, Redentor Poblete, Gerardo Palompo, Eleonor Enverga, Manolito Reyes, Johner Mafe, Jocelyn Banagan, Elinor Lontok, Gladys San Diego, and others.

Good news! Voice of Carmona (VOCS) is celebrating its 28th Founding Anniversary! Yay! Happy Anniversary, VOCS! Friends, congratulations to all of us! 🇨🇦🇵🇭👩‍🎓👨‍🎓🏆🥇🥄 🍽 🎂🎈

Voice of Carmona (VOCS) was founded on June 12, 1998, in Carmona, Cavite, Philippines. VOCS: “World-class Scholarship and Feeding Program.” VOCS will always be non-political and a not-for-profit charity. VOCS has been a registered Canadian charity since September 17, 2018. VOCS has been incorporated in British Columbia (BC), Canada since October 1, 2014.

Voice of Carmona's (VOCS') total amount of fundraising was Canadian (CAD) $181,050 or PHP7.5 million. Wow! (from October 1, 2014 to June 4, 2026: Eleven Years). Most of these funds were used for our Scholarship Program since 2014 to present, with the total expenses of CAD$175,250 or PHP7.3 million, for the scholarships or cash grants of all our Scholars. The rest of these fundraising were used for our Feeding Program since 2016 to present, with a total amount of CAD$5,065 or PHP188,000.

Thank you very much also to all our excellent VOCS’ Directors, Agents, Scholar Officers and Scholars for their great loyalty, trust, service, dedication, understanding, patience and support always to our VOCS. VOCS now has five hundred (500) Scholars in the Philippines and Canada. VOCS has a nationwide Scholarship Program in the Philippines. VOCS has Scholars in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Most VOCS’ Scholars are verified honour students.

Dear friends, our Voice of Carmona’s (VOCS’) Awarding of salaries and scholarship grants this month of May had a total amount of PHP50,000 or Canadian (CAD) $1,300. Yay!
The funds or money for this VOCS’ Awarding came from the very generous and personal investments of Mr. Florante (Ogie) Alumia (VOCS’ President and CEO since 1998 to present). Wow! Since our VOCS’ foundation in 1998 to present, Mr. Florante (Ogie) Alumia (VOCS’ President and CEO) had a total investment of CAD$47,865 or PHP1.81 million to our VOCS.

Forty-four (44) selected VOCS’ Directors, Agents and Scholars received this month of May a salary or scholarship grant between PHP1,000 and PHP2,000 per person. Attached is our Official VOCS’ Grants Record. Please read it.
