$1.5 billion in federal funding is now available for Canadian businesses facing U.S. tariff pressure β and southern Ontario businesses can apply right now.
The Regional Tariff Response Initiative offers both repayable and non-repayable funding to help businesses boost productivity, lower costs, strengthen supply chains, and access new markets. Eligible sectors include steel, automotive, food security, and businesses across all industries facing trade disruption.
To qualify your business must be incorporated, located and operating in southern Ontario, and employ between 5 and 499 full-time equivalent employees. Non-profit organizations whose primary focus is supporting SMEs are also eligible for up to $10 million in non-repayable funding.
Funding ranges from $125,000 to $10 million depending on your organization type and project. The intake is open now β but this is a time-sensitive program and funding will not last indefinitely.
If U.S. tariffs have disrupted your operations, supply chain, or export markets, this program was built for exactly that situation.
π‘ Up to $10M available. Repayable and non-repayable options. Intake open now.
