Anyone who has stepped into the arena of entrepreneurship knows this feeling well.

Those moments where you question everything. Where your mind drifts back to that 9-5 you could clock out of without a second thought - no worry of things falling apart the moment you stepped away. Wondering if you’ve chosen the right path, or if you’re heading straight off a cliff.

We know it doesn’t always look like progress. And we know that small business success isn’t linear.

But looking back, it’s usually easy to see that these moments happen for a reason.

That they’re “character building.” (Insert eye-roll.)

And while I’m not saying anything you don’t already know, it’s all part of the journey.

The detours are part of the plan.

And if you find yourself on one right now, keep going.

It’s working, even when it doesn’t feel like it. Even when you can’t quite see the progress yet.

When I started ACE Business Essentials, I wanted to create something that truly made a difference for small business owners. Not just to tick a few boxes, but to really dig in and show up for them.

I’d seen firsthand how much comes with running a business. The marketing, the admin, the bookkeeping, the social media, the hiring, the onboarding - and that’s before the day even really starts!

For so many small business owners, that means wearing too many hats, juggling multiple service providers, explaining their business over and over, and still feeling like all the moving pieces aren’t quite coming together like they should.

I wanted to change that. One team, one point of contact, one partner who takes the time to truly understand your business from the inside out — and supports it in every way it needs.

And yes, ACE actually stands for Administrative Concierge for Entrepreneurs. ✨

That’s what ACE was built to be. And two years in, the vision is still clear and the roadmap continues to take shape.

So here’s to Year 3.

Here’s to growing thoughtfully, building intentionally, and to even more business owners who finally feel supported the way they deserve to be. 🥂

This year was about building solid foundations and genuine connections.

From connecting and collaborating with incredible women entrepreneurs here in the Comox Valley, to community events, co-working days, volunteering with MARS Wildlife Rescue, attending Vancouver Startup Week, and supporting clients across several industries. This year reminded me how much connection matters in business.

Behind the scenes, ACE Business Essentials helped turn ideas into action. Websites launched, systems built, processes documented, and countless small details handled so business owners could focus on what they do best.
