Process. Sometimes things take a while to come together and sometimes it’s an email and a series of texts between clients ( or your in-laws) to propose some ideas. Felt good to get the drafting tape out and sketch a few plans and ideas out for them. Simple- low maintenance is the goal with a space for some family activities. Had some time today to get this out to them ☺️

Hi! 👋🏻 I don’t think we’ve been introduced before! My name is Kim and I am the owner/designer of Collage Landscape +Design. I figured at one point people would wonder who’s behind all these gorgeous designs… and now you know!
Some things you should know about me:
1. I’ve actually been in business for almost 20 years, but only took the leap in 2022 to leave my full time job slinging wine to chase the entrepreneurship dream! (So if you want some wine recommendations… I got you covered there too).
2. I love my family, being outside, travelling and there is literally no dog I won’t say hi to. (hence the reason I volunteer at WHS).
3. I love- and I mean love working with people. My favourite part of designing is meeting clients and seeing the smiles on their faces when we’ve brought their inspirations to reality. I’m a people relationship builder and if you work with me, you’ll see why I stand out from other companies. Little shop, big ideas, full attention.

First quarry run of the season ! Big things coming this year!

Lavender. One of my favourite perennials to plant— and also one that can be very fickle. When treated with a little extra care it can be a crown jewel in your beds. Chunky bees and other pollinators love it and it holds it blooms till late in the season. Harvest some for bouquets, dry it for teas and tinctures or keep it in a bowl for that perfumed scent all winter. 💜🌸

Spruce is a great landscape addition for larger yards- they add elegance in winter landscape, draw beautiful shadows in the snow and they are also homes to many of our winter birds and furry little friends.
