It’s our last Cattle Sale of the season on Tuesday 5th May and last chance for Young Handlers (aged 8-26 years) to experience the buying, rearing and feeding of a Beef Bred Steer or Heifer with the focus on achieving a healthy margin between purchase price and sale price.

The cost of the Cattle will be financed by Harrison & Hetherington and must be presented for the sale on Tuesday 27th October.

There will be a show for the Young Farmers Calves and a Trophy for the Overall Champion. A special prize will be presented to the Young Farmer with the greatest margin.

Entries for the sale in May will close at 10am on Monday 27th April
