Today, Linda Morley Virtual Assistant has been in business for 4 years!

When I launched, I gave myself a year to see what happened.

Four years later, there is definitely no turning back now!

There have been bumps along the way, but I've absolutely loved the journey. I've learnt so much and continue to learn with every new project, challenge and client.

I've been lucky enough to work with some great clients, and I’m enjoying seeing how much LMVA has changed along the way.

I absolutely love being my own boss and having the flexibility to work from different locations and choosing my own working hours. That was one of the main reasons I started my own business.

I feel this last year has been the year I've evolved the most. I've spent more time reviewing what I've learnt, capturing procedures, creating templates and putting better systems in place - not just for my clients, but for LMVA too.

And perhaps one of the biggest things I've learnt is that good admin isn't just about getting paperwork done. It's about making life easier, creating time and giving business owners the headspace to concentrate on what they do best.

So, to everyone who has supported LMVA along the way - thank you! 💙

The new hockey season is finally here, and I played my first game of the season this weekend!

Everyone has a role to play. Defenders, midfielders, forwards and goalkeeper - we all bring different skills to the team. You can't have everyone trying to do the same job, and you certainly can't have one person doing everything!

The same applies to running a business.

As a Virtual Assistant, I'm there to become part of your team - bringing my skills and experience to the things you need support with, while you concentrate on the parts of your business that need your time and attention.

I don't need to know how to do everything you do, and you don't need to know how to do everything I do. That's the beauty of having the right people around you.

Different skills. Different roles. One team.

And just like on the hockey pitch, it's amazing what you can achieve when everyone works together!

Delegating doesn't have to mean handing over control or committing to a full-time assistant.

A quiet client week doesn't mean nothing is happening...

Not every week in business is full of exciting projects - and that's absolutely fine.
Much of my work is the steady, behind-the-scenes admin that keeps businesses organised.
It is:
• Updating spreadsheets.
• Replying to emails.
• Preparing documents.
• Scheduling newsletters.
• Keeping systems running smoothly.

It's not glamorous, but it's incredibly important.

Sometimes the biggest value comes from making sure everything simply works.

This payment is split into two instalments each year:
• First instalment is due by midnight on 31 January.
• Second instalment is due by midnight on 31 July.
Each payment is half of your previous year’s tax bill.
