St Comgall's - Ionad Eileen Howell will host the beginning of a series of events organised by the Falls Commemoration Committee to mark the 50th anniversary of ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ก๐๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ beginning the Blanket Protest on 14 September 1976.
The programme begins in Ionad Eileen Howell on Saturday 12 September at 1pm with a special book launch of ๐๐ช๐ฆ๐ณ๐ข๐ฏ ๐๐ถ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ณ๐ด๐ต ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฌ๐ฆ๐ต ๐๐ข๐ฏ followed by a panel discussion.
The panel includes:

โข ๐ฆรญ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ด๐ต โ former leader of the protesting prisoners in Armagh Womenโs Gaol
โข ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ ๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐น๐น๐ฒ โ former blanket protester and cellmate of Kieran Nugent
The events continue over the following two days:
