🍾 Congratulations to Alfie Beestin on picking up the Man of the Match award for Scunthorpe United FC at the weekend!

As this season’s Man of the Match sponsors, it’s great to see another bottle of our Kingfisher Kiss being presented to the chosen player.

There was a nice little connection with the weekend’s match sponsors too, Paul Fox Estate Agents. Although with the Fox lads sponsoring the game, we have to admit our Foxed Red might have been the more appropriate bottle.

Apologies lads, we missed a trick there! 🦊

🍷 Heading up Steep Hill in Lincoln?

Keep an eye out for a little bit of Wressle Vineyard…..

Our next stockist highlight takes us to A Little Bit Of Lincolnshire, right in the heart of Lincoln’s Cathedral Quarter and just a short walk from Lincoln Cathedral and the Castle.

The shop is run by Paul and Emma Davey and is all about Lincolnshire, bringing together food, drink and products from independent producers across the county. It’s exactly the kind of place we’re pleased to see Wressle Vineyard w**es on the shelves.

They’ve got a great selection of our w**es available too, so whether you already have a favourite or fancy trying something different, call in when you’re next making your way up Steep Hill.

👏 A big thank you to A little bit of Lincolnshire for continuing to support Wressle Vineyard and so many other Lincolnshire producers.

If you run an independent shop, pub, restaurant or hotel and would like to stock or serve Wressle Vineyard w**es, we’d love to hear from you.

🍷 Always nice to spot a bottle of Wressle Vineyard out in the wild!

We were tagged in this post from the weekend’s game at Scunthorpe United FC, sponsored by Paul Fox Estate Agents, with Ryan Fox giving our Foxed Red a pretty good review:

“Excellent name, excellent w**e.” 🍷

We’ll happily take that!

🥉 Even better, Foxed Red 2025 picked up a Bronze medal at the WineGB Midlands & North Awards 2026 last week.

A good week for the Foxed Red, and great to see it being enjoyed locally.

🍇 COME HARVEST WITH US!

The date is confirmed and we’re getting ready for one of the biggest days of the year at Wressle Vineyard.

On Thursday 10th September, we’ll be harvesting our Rondo field, with around 3 tonnes of grapes expected to be picked during the day. We’re looking for at least 20 people to come along, get stuck in and help us bring in this year’s crop.

We’ll start at 9am and aim to finish around 2pm. You don’t need any experience and we’ll show you exactly what to do. Everyone helping will be kept fed and watered throughout the day and, as a thank you, you’ll also take home a free bottle of Wressle Vineyard w**e.

Harvest days are always a great experience and a chance to see first-hand what goes into producing our w**es, from picking the grapes in the field right at the start of the process.

Places are limited and these days are always popular, so if you can help us on the 10th, please join our WhatsApp group below where we’ll share all the details.

🍷 9 w**es entered. 8 medals. What a result for Wressle Vineyard.

Yesterday we received the results from the annual WineGB Midlands & North competition, and of the nine Wressle Vineyard w**es we entered, eight came away with medals - six Silver and two Bronze.

We’re incredibly proud of the result, but we’re just as proud of how far Wressle Vineyard has come and what our team has achieved along the way.

There’s a huge amount of hard work behind what we do, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without the people who continue to support us. Our customers, the businesses that stock and serve our w**es, and everyone who recommends us, talks about our w**es and helps spread the word - thank you.

Seeing eight of our w**es recognised makes all that hard work worthwhile.

We’re growing, our w**es are reaching more people and we’re excited to see just how far we can take Wressle Vineyard.

Eight medals from nine w**es. We’ll definitely be raising a glass to that.

Thank you from all of us at Wressle Vineyard.

🍷 Please leave us a review

Have you attended one of our events at Wressle Vineyard, tried one of our award-winning w**es, bought a bottle from one of our stockists, or had Wressle recommended to you by a friend or family member?

We’d love to hear what you thought.

Reviews are really important to us as the vineyard continues to grow. They give people who may not have heard of Wressle before the chance to read about other people’s experiences, whether that’s visiting the vineyard, coming along to an event or simply enjoying one of our w**es at home.

If you have a couple of minutes to leave us a review on Facebook or Google, we’d really appreciate it.

🍷 Thank you to Jill Robinson for leaving us such a lovely review.

Jill visited Wressle Vineyard to collect two of our award-winning w**es, beautifully packaged as a wedding present, and while she was here we had the chance to show her around the vines that produced the w**es she had chosen.

We really appreciate Jill taking the time to share her experience and, of course, we particularly loved being described as “a w**e lovers paradise in the middle of North Lincolnshire.”

Thank you, Jill. We look forward to welcoming you back. 🍷

🍷 Robbing Red Breast

Made from Rondo grapes grown right here at Wressle Vineyard, our 2024 Robbing Red Breast is a dry English red with plenty of character.

Red cherry and blackberry come through first, with subtle notes of black pepper, spice and gentle smokiness. Fresh acidity and fine tannins give it structure, leading to a clean, lightly spiced finish.

🥈 Our 2024 vintage is also a Wines of Great Britain Midlands & North Silver Award winner.

It pairs beautifully with roast meats, grilled vegetables, mushroom dishes and lightly spiced food, or simply enjoy a glass on its own.

And if you fancy comparing vintages, we still have limited stock of our award-winning 2023 Robbing Red Breast available too.

🍷 Both vintages are available to order from our website.
