We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business within the construction materials sector for an HGV Class 2 Concrete Pump Driver / Plant Operative.

Whether you're an experienced concrete pump operator or a newly qualified Class 2 driver looking to build a long-term career, we'd love to hear from you. Full training is available for the right candidate.

🔹 What you'll be doing:
✅ Operating and maintaining a concrete line pump
✅ Delivering excellent customer service on-site
✅ Driving and positioning the pump vehicle safely
✅ Carrying out vehicle and equipment inspections
✅ Supporting batching plant operations and yard duties
✅ Working closely with site teams to ensure safe and efficient operations

🔹 Essential Requirements:
✔ Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
✔ Driver CPC Qualification
✔ Strong communication and customer service skills
✔ Positive attitude and strong work ethic
✔ Flexible approach to working hours

🔹 Desirable:
⭐ Construction site experience
⭐ Concrete pump operating experience
⭐ CPCS or NPORS qualification
⭐ CSCS Card
⭐ Mechanical awareness and problem-solving skills

We’ve loved having Layla with us this week for her work experience placement! 👏

Over the course of the week, Layla got involved in lots of different areas of the business to get a real insight into the recruitment industry and office life. She spent time finding leads through CVs and Indeed, sat with all of our different desks listening in on sales calls, and was particularly interested in the driving desk. 🚛

Layla also got to see the creative side of the business, learning about content creation and social media. She listened in on our social media meeting, watched how content is filmed, and really enjoyed hearing all the different ideas we come up with as a team. 🎥📱

One of the biggest things Layla has taken away from the experience is what it’s like working in a full-time office environment. Before joining us, she didn’t know much about the recruitment industry or what to expect, so it’s been great to give her a real understanding of how the industry works day to day.

Layla will be completing her A Levels next year, followed by university the year after, and she said this week has given her a lot to think about when it comes to her future career path.

It’s been a pleasure having Layla with us this week, she’s been enthusiastic, engaged, and eager to learn throughout. We’re sad to see her go and wish her all the best for the future! 🌟

We’re excited to welcome Layla to the team this week for her work experience placement! 👋

Layla is 17 and currently studying Art, Politics and Psychology at college. She’s joining us to gain first-hand experience of the workplace, learn more about the recruitment industry, and build her confidence and people skills along the way.

During her time with us, Layla will be getting involved in a variety of activities including lead generation, listening in on sales calls, and spending time across our different desks, driving, Industrial, and Engineering, to get a real insight into each specialism.

She’ll also be working closely with our Content Coordinator, Jess, to explore the marketing side of the business and see how we communicate and engage with our audience.

We’re looking forward to supporting Layla this week and helping her get as much as possible from the experience. Welcome to the team, Layla! 🙌

💫 🚢 Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of attending a fantastic charity quiz night aboard the iconic . The evening was brilliantly hosted by Andy and expertly organised by Lucy and the Bristol team, bringing together over 100 attendees including colleagues, clients, and Lucy’s friends and family 🫶

A special mention must also go to Adam, who did an incredible job supporting the evening, helping to host and bringing great energy to the room, as well as running a successful raffle and auction that helped raise even more for these important causes 🎉

The event was held in support of two incredibly important causes, Breast Cancer Now Breast Cancer Now and www.aurorbcw.co.uk. Both charities are doing vital work to support those affected by breast cancer, fund life-saving research, and raise awareness, making evenings like this so meaningful.

It was inspiring to see such a strong turnout and sense of community, with everyone coming together not only for a fun and engaging quiz night, but to contribute to causes that impact so many lives. A big shoutout to Bristol City FC, the nights winners 🏆
