A customer recently brought in a rather dilapidated capping piece from a wooden gazebo roof. After getting the rough measurements of the piece(s) we found a nice thick Larch board to cut a replacement from.
Using our tilting table saw we made some angled cuts to give a chamfer before making more cuts to free the pieces. The bottom of the capping piece was hollowed out using a Kutzall shaping disk.

Our firewood sales have been picking up.
Remember to be prepared before the cold weather is upon us.
Today’s deliveries are both for some of our unprocessed logs.

Cutting a couple of Greenheart blocks into smaller more manageable blocks.
The customer wanted the blocks to support vehicles while working on them. The blocks had been given to him for free and are ideal for the job as they are the heart wood cants left after the higher quality boards have been cut from the edges.

3 Ash shelves, planed, cut and sanded.
1.8m x 45mm x 32mm Cedar battens and some 1.2m x 25mm x 25mm Larch battens.
2.4m x 15mm x 100mm rough sawn Larch cladding
4.9m x 248mm x 120mm Larch beams.
