Works are now underway on another major commercial strip-out project for the MK Demolition team.

Last week we started the full strip-out of this 5-storey commercial office building, with works covering the complete removal of internal finishes and services throughout.

The scope includes:

* Full internal strip-out across all five floors
* Removal of electrical cabling, pipework and associated services
* Removal of the existing air-conditioning systems
* Full strip-out of the plant room
* Removal of rooftop mechanical plant and systems, which will be lifted from the building by crane
* Formation of a new full-height opening through a section of the building, from ground floor to roof level, ready to form loading bays as part of the future refurbishment

A substantial package of works with plenty of planning involved around sequencing, logistics, waste removal and the crane operations.

Good progress already from the MK team and plenty more to come as the building is taken back ready for its next stage of refurbishment.

Another project underway for the MK Demolition & Reclaim team.

This property is now entering the first stage of its redevelopment, with our team carrying out the soft strip and demolition works ready for the next phase.

Another major project underway.

Today we started our strip out works at The Tower Hotel in the heart of London, ready for a full refurbishment programme.

The project will be completed in phases, with 40 rooms being stripped out at a time before refurbishment begins. Once those rooms are complete, we’ll move on to the next 40, with works continuing over the next 12 months.

Projects like this rely on careful planning and close coordination to keep the hotel operating while refurbishment progresses. Credit to the team for another strong start.
