And now we’re looking for a Marketing Executive to join the Destination Chesterfield team.

It's a varied and rewarding role.
One where you’ll use your skills across our social media, website and email campaigns - all the while helping to tell Chesterfield’s story.

To do this, we work with businesses, residents and visitors to uncover and share the stories that make our town stand out.

Did you catch a glimpse of the latest restoration to the Chesterfield Canal? ⛏️

It's a significant project in the area, focused on bringing this historic waterway back into use and improving access routes through the area.

It's also a highly anticipated project.

More than 200 people enjoyed a guided tour around the site for a closer look at the latest transformations.

While journalists got a first look in the morning, all 180 tour tickets open to the public sold in less than 24 hours.

These visitors got a chance to hear what work has now been completed, see the complex engineering features being installed, and learn about the next stage of development to come.

These latest works put us one step closer to seeing a transformed Chesterfield Canal.
