Seaberry PR

Seaberry PR PR & Social Media My skills and experience enable me to give accurate, effective and unbiased advice to my clients.

Seaberry PR acknowledges that every business is individual, and hence offers tailor made PR & social media consultancy and management packages to suit your needs and budget. Social media can feel like a minefield to the uninitiated and that is why it is imperative you choose a social media consultant with proven experience within social media and the various platforms on offer. My 7 years of exper

ience within social media has given me an in-depth oversight of how it has progressed in that time, what has developed 'organically' within the social media communities, what has worked, and of equal importance, what has not worked for a platform. Social media changes at a phenomenal pace and there are many additional features developers introduce - often in order to help them make money from advertising or additional apps within the platform. It requires someone with a background in social media to form an experienced view and forecast the reaction and pick up rate of the majority of the platform's users, in order to consult effectively with their client on those platforms. Using my background and knowledge gained over the past 7 years in social media, I am able to form effective social media strategies with my clients. Strategies which fit into their company ethos and work for them, as opposed to expecting all companies to fit into a social media strategy based on the latest gimmick, bandwagon or buzz word. As well as offering a monthly retainer service for all your PR needs, I also take on freelance PR commissions regarding the writing of press releases, advertorial, editorial, articles, blog writing and copywriting. With a background in print journalism, skills honed when writing for publications in the UK and Hong Kong, I have a flexible writing style adept at taking on the house style or ‘voice’ of the publication and the demographic the copy is aimed at. Knowing which publications will highlight your Company’s news best, saves you time and money. I have formed mutually respectful relationships with editors and media executives, enabling me to negotiate the best deal for my clients, placing your news in the publications your business associates, current and potential customers and clients, will see. Well placed editorial highlights and re-enforces your brand, spreading the news of your product, service, success and business growth, to potential new clients and on the desks of the decision makers you want made aware of your business. All my clients get regular requests to submit comment and opinion to various local, trade & industry and professional business publications. Having built up relationships with journalists and editors for these publications, I am able to make sure my clients are first on the list when requests come through to me from my contacts. PR works hand in hand with social media in reinforcing your brand. For those at the very beginning of their social media journey I am able to work with you setting up your social media accounts, carefully choosing the platforms best suited to your business. I take time to discuss and go through how to use these business tools to benefit your business, discuss and consult on social media strategy to improve your online presence and build mutually reciprocal relationships within the social media community. If you decide you or a nominated employee/s will be taking on the role of keeping your social media accounts up to date, I provide individually tailored workshops to train people how to use their social media accounts. These workshops are very popular for smaller companies in need of guidance and advice, but without the budget or need to employ a dedicated consultant on a retainer basis. I can arrange with you regular refresher workshops with your team and produce monthly or quarterly reports on your social media activity, highlighting advice and tips on how to improve certain areas. I am also regularly booked to present social media presentations at networking groups, business lunches and events, as well as to groups of employees or departments of a company who may be only just embarking on social media. Sometimes a company will require me to come in and ‘shake them up’ with regards their social media which they feel lacks focus, strategy, and enthusiasm from their dedicated SM team. As with most things in life, enthusiasm is key to success! If you feel the need for someone to take the pressure away from you, I can offer total management of your company's social media, leaving you to focus on running your company. Again, this option is very popular for companies who have already tried to manage their social media accounts themselves, and become overwhelmed or those who prefer to use a dedicated consultant. This option is also very flexible and affordable with my aim to fit in around your budget. I also offer packages to advise and manage your company blog - whether you need coaching on how to write your blog to be of interest and relevance to others, what information to put in, how to maximise SEO by use of tag words and subjects. Most companies hire me to write their blogs for them, simply providing me with photos and a few facts about the subject matter, or providing me with a subject relevant to their industry which they require an article to be written about in order to highlight a service they provide, for example. If you require someone to take over the day to day/week to week running of all your social media pages and/or PR, I am very client led and will work with your budget, rather than expecting your business to fit in to a standard ‘template.’

Chartered Builders, Greendale Construction Limited, has raised an incredible £2510 for the Company’s charity of the year, Elsie’s Rose, set up by parents, Annie and Ben Gould after losing their beloved first-born daughter, Elsie, to a brain tumour in 2021.

Seventeen employees of the firm took part in the gruelling 2026 Dorset Mud Run on Saturday 16th May, completing the 6km run with over 15 tough, but muddy-fun obstacles held at the Stock Gaylard Estate.

The team, made up of staff from both Greendale’s Poole and Wi******er offices and sites, all successfully finished the challenge, raising the much-needed funds for Elsie’s Rose which supports bereaved parents and those with children suffering life-limiting conditions. The money raised by generous Mud Run donations adds to the £1245 cheque Greendale Construction presented to Elsie’s Rose after the Company’s Christmas party raffle.

Annie and Ben’s daughter, Elsie, was born on 6th August 2020 — healthy, happy and full of character. But on 14th August 2021, completely out of the blue, Elsie suffered a fit. Following a visit to Poole Hospital, she was discharged with a diagnosis of BRUE (Brief Resolved Unexplained Episode).

The seizures and hospital admissions continued, and at just over a year old, Elsie was diagnosed with epilepsy. On 17th September 2021, her condition worsened significantly. After an unsettled night in hospital, Annie and Ben woke to find Elsie unresponsive and struggling to breathe. A CT scan revealed a non-cancerous brain tumour, which had caused a fluid-filled cyst putting pressure on her brain. Elsie was transferred to Southampton General Hospital for brain surgery.

Despite initial success, further scans, medication and sedation followed in the PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit) until, heartbreakingly, on 22nd September 2021, Elsie’s life support was turned off, and she passed away in Annie and Ben’s arms.

Annie Gould, Mum, and founder of Elsie’s Rose, said: “Our whole family would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Greendale for raising such an incredible amount of money for Elsie’s Rose.

“When we started this charity, our goal was simple: to help other bereaved parents like us and to let them know they are not alone. Losing a child is something no parent should ever have to face, and the support we receive from our community is what enables us to continue helping families through some of the darkest times of their lives. As bereaved parents, we face challenges every single day. The grief never disappears, and learning to live alongside that loss is a journey that continues forever. Knowing that people are willing to challenge themselves, give up their time, and work so hard to raise money for a cause that is so deeply personal to us is incredibly touching.”

“We are overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity, and support shown by the team at Greendale. Every pound raised will help us continue Elsie’s legacy by supporting other families who are navigating the heartbreak of child loss. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in Elsie’s Rose and for helping her make a difference. Your support means more to us than words can ever truly express.”

Maria Seabright, HR and Finance Director, Greendale Construction, said: “We are so proud and impressed with the amazing Greendale team for completing this tough challenge to raise a fantastic £2510 for Elsie’s Rose. We are continually inspired by the incredible work of Elsie’s Rose and the difference the charity makes in supporting bereaved parents and families facing life-limiting conditions. We would also like to thank everyone who donated so generously. Every contribution will go a long way in helping families who need support.”

Chartered Builders, Greendale Construction Limited, has successfully completed two major projects at Bournemouth Airport outbound baggage expansion and Bournemouth Airport arrivals expansion for Regional & City Airports.

Commencing in July 2024, the twelve month, £2.7 million works for Bournemouth Airport outbound baggage expansion included alterations and extensions to the outbound baggage operations with a new industrial steel frame and clad building providing cover for additional belts, carousels and out of gauge luggage. Alongside the external extension there were also minor alterations inside the departures terminal; removing the existing toilet block and making space for additional baggage belts. Greendale Construction worked closely with the client, design team and baggage handling contractor to construct the new building which facilitates a much-increased baggage handling capability. The airport operations were maintained through the duration of the expansion, and all trades worked around the flight schedules to complete these works.

Chris Cave, Commercial Director, Greendale Construction, said: “Greendale Construction completed further works as part of the Bournemouth Airport arrivals expansion which started in October 2024 and were handed over in November 2025. During this phase, the £3.2 million works consisted of a new-build extension to the arrivals building. The new construction consists of powerfloat floor finishes, a cladded steel frame building, and new service installations. The new area now boasts a large open space allowing for additional queuing inside, new passport check-in desks and pre-immigration toilets. The building connects into the existing arrivals hall where internal alterations have been undertaken to create additional baggage handling space as well as new ancillary rooms.”

Greendale Construction has smashed its charity rowing challenge target, raising over £2,350 for Gabriel’s Journey, the company’s charity of the year. A Greendale team of sixteen rowed a total of 151 miles, beating the target 90 miles originally set as the distance between the firm’s Poole HQ and its Wi******er office and back again.

Gabriel’s Journey raises funds for 15-year old Gabriel from Bridport; a twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome survivor, born at 33+4 weeks’ gestation along with his identical twin brother Isaac; sadly, stillborn. After his birth, Gabriel was resuscitated for 28 minutes by healthcare professionals; he had a neonatal intracranial haemorrhage, spent 4 days on a ventilator, required a blood transfusion and antibiotics. Gabriel is diagnosed with four limb cerebral palsy, epilepsy, global developmental delay, and is nonverbal.

In August 2023, Gabriel suffered a prolonged seizure which led to him being intubated. Unfortunately, the intubation caused severe damage to his airway, and despite multiple surgical procedures at both Southampton and Great Ormond Street Hospital, his health declined. On the 10th of November 2023, Gabriel underwent tracheostomy surgery. Since then, he has been diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome; a rare and unfortunately drug-resistant form of epilepsy.

Maria Seabright, Finance & HR Director, Greendale Construction, commented: “The money raised will go towards providing Gabriel with home adaptations, equipment, and therapies unavailable through the NHS or social care services, as well as adapted toys and holidays. Through our various fundraising events this year, Greendale Construction has now raised an incredible £3560 for Gabriel. We are beyond grateful to our Greendale rowers, and everyone who sponsored us, as well as everyone who has donated and supported our other fundraisers for Gabriel’s Journey this year. We’re all delighted and thrilled to have smashed our target and enabled Gabriel to continue to receive the best care and experiences to enhance his life.”

Chartered Builders, Greendale Construction Limited has helped redevelop an existing vineyard farm complex in the West Dorset countryside into a luxury 17 bedroom country hotel with wellness retreat and spa. Work started on Louma Country Hotel, located in the Marshwood Vale, West Dorset, and overlooking Charmouth towards the Jurassic Coast, in July 2022, with the main body of the contract handed over in July 2024.

The two-year project involved the redevelopment of part of the existing vineyard, stables and farm complex to provide new luxury accommodation, entertainment space, and wellness facilities with a diverse array of experiences optimizing the use of its 100 acre site. The five buildings formed a key part of the project which is situated adjacent to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Dorset countryside. Three new-build developments of similar size and in previous building positions are now the Main Barn, Timber Stables and Wellness Barn. Greendale also completed major works to the Stone Barn and Main House in order to extend, alter and conserve these two buildings. Works were implemented aligned with extensive bio-diversity reports from the planning department.

Joe Gargaro, General Manager, Louma Country Hotel, commented: “Working with Greendale Construction and their teams who supported them in delivering the project of Louma Country Hotel has been a truly rewarding experience. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit brought our vision for Louma Country Hotel to life. From the very beginning, they understood the essence of what we wanted to create – a sanctuary that blends luxury with nature. The result is a space that not only honours the heritage of the land but also provides a unique and enriching experience for every guest. We were extremely pleased with the outcome.”

Chris Cave, Commercial Director, Greendale Construction commented: “It has been an absolute pleasure to be a major part of this Dorset countryside re-development into Louma Country Hotel. From the outset, it was clear that all personnel from client, designers, planners, contractors & specialist suppliers all had the enthusiasm and drive to work together as a team. The whole spirit of the project thrived on teamwork and would not have been the success it was without the dedicated hard work, skills and professionalism of all those involved. Louma Country Hotel has already garnered high praise in the national press for its outstanding facilities in stunning surrounds, and it’s a project Greendale Construction are very proud to be part of.”

04/07/2026

Chartered Builders, Greendale Construction Limited, has announced its highest turnover of £20.4 million in 34 years of trading, attributing a pivotal part of this achievement to the firm’s continued investment in its staff and training. With a significant increase of 38%, 2023-24 saw the Poole founded company mark a monumental milestone following the previous year’s return to profitability.

Rob Ho**er, Director, Greendale Construction, commented: “A combination of strategic changes, a risk-averse approach to business, and continuing to expand our operating area eastwards into Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey and the M3 corridor, has contributed to Greendale’s growth and record turnover. Crucially however, it is through the hard work and dedication of our very adaptable staff, who help us successfully deliver a diverse range of first-class projects.

“We have long recognised the importance of cultivating a skilled, knowledgeable and fulfilled workforce, believing that investing in training and professional development is the foundation of our growth and success. Over the years, we have established strong apprenticeship and graduate schemes, offering opportunities for our employees to build their careers within the company. Additionally, we support our staff with a range of safety and mental health training courses, ensuring employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the ever-evolving construction industry.”

Greendale has also taken proactive steps to adapt to changing economic conditions. Despite the challenges presented by fluctuating political and economic climates, the company has implemented strategies to navigate industry challenges and maintain consistent profitability.

Rob Ho**er, continued: “We are excited about the future. With an impressive portfolio covering all sectors, we’re particularly proud of our work within the growing heritage sector. Greendale has helped restore and maintain buildings of historic importance for future generations to enjoy, including most recently, Poole Museum, Scaplans Court, Uppark House and Dorchester’s Corn Exchange. Our commercial sector is exceptionally strong with recent projects for Bournemouth Airport and Lasham Gliding Club. The Health, and Education sectors are buoyant, with Greendale working on numerous SCOLA recladding projects for Hampshire County Council, as well as large refurbishments for Bournemouth University. With busy offices in both Wi******er and Poole, we’re looking forward to another year of sustained growth and profitability on the projects we deliver.”
