Summer has a funny way of reminding us what balance really looks like ☀️

Long evenings. Walks on the beach. Coffee in the garden. Time with family and friends. Moments when we pause, breathe and realise how much we've needed to slow down.

As summer draws to a close, perhaps it's worth asking yourself: what moments made you feel most like yourself? And more importantly, how can you build more of those moments into everyday life?

Work-life balance isn't about grand gestures or dramatic changes. Sometimes, it's as simple as taking ten minutes to step outside, switching off your emails for an evening or making time for the people and things that bring you joy.

Use the memories and moments from this summer as a reminder: pausing isn't a luxury, it's a necessity.

How will you create more balance in the months ahead?

The holidays are over. The kids are back at school. Summertime is coming to an end. It's time to reset.

As everyone settles back into routines and starts planning for the final few months of the year, now is the perfect time to ask:

What are we doing to support menopause in our workplace?

Maybe it's time to:
✓ Start the conversation
✓ Train your managers
✓ Review your policies
✓ Check in with your people
✓ Plan an awareness session for World Menopause Day in October

Small steps can make a huge difference to someone's experience at work.

September is all about fresh starts, could this be the month your organisation finally puts menopause on the agenda?

Rebecca Vincent Nutrition Thank you for a brilliant talk today and a reminder of some of the great things we worked on during our 1:1 sessions a few years ago…

From Stress to Vitality: 5 Transformative Nutrition & Lifestyle Hacks…

When you work with Rebecca she focuses on you as the whole person and it’s so much more than nutrition.

I still live by so many of Rebecca’s nutritional tips and practical advice.

Rebecca is understanding, reassuring and never expecting perfection… do reach out to her if it’s time for you to focus on you and your relationship with nutrition.

It’s one of the best things I did for myself 😊

One of my very simple confidence tips…

I facilitate confidence workshops and work with individuals on a 1:1 basis to support an increase in their confidence, for so many different reasons.

Many people struggle to feel confident internally; so we work on various external messages.

This is one of them… every single day applying the most gorgeous ‘Body Love’ ❤️

Not only are you applying a luxury product onto your skin (that also smells amazing!) but you’re also sharing a message… to love your body.

Then the magic✨ happens… you start to believe it and love yourself a little bit more.

This year's World Menopause Day theme, "Chronic Pain in Midlife", shines a light on an aspect of menopause that is too often overlooked.

For many women, menopause isn't just hot flushes and brain fog. Joint pain, muscle aches and chronic discomfort can have a huge impact on confidence, wellbeing and performance at work.

Yet so many women continue to suffer in silence, unsure whether what they're experiencing is "normal" or where to turn for support.

As we approach World Menopause Day this October, let's broaden the conversation and recognise the very real impact that chronic pain can have on people's lives, both inside and outside the workplace.

Understanding leads to support, and support leads to change and that’s what I’m here to shout about.

A little reminder that World Menopause Day is just around the corner ⏰

Friday 18th October is an opportunity to do more than simply acknowledge menopause in the workplace, it's a chance to create meaningful change amongst your workplace culture.

Could your managers benefit from greater awareness? Are your employees getting the support they need? Has the conversation started, but perhaps stalled?

Whether it's a lunch-and-learn, an interactive workshop or a leadership session, now is the perfect time to make menopause part of your wellbeing agenda.

My diary is already filling up, so if you'd like to mark World Menopause Day in your organisation, please don't leave it too late.

Let's keep the conversation going 💚

October is Menopause Awareness Month, making it the perfect time to start meaningful conversations in your workplace.

Whether you're looking to educate managers, support employees or create a more inclusive culture, now is the time to start planning.

I've already had lots of enquiries for October, and my diary is filling up quickly, so if you've been thinking about booking a menopause awareness session, let's start the conversation now.

Because menopause awareness shouldn't be a box-ticking exercise, it should be the start of lasting change.

October will be here before we know it. Will your workplace be ready?

19 years of nursery, school, clubs
21 years of life revolving around my children

Empty nest… 🪹

3 years on from my first ever post about the impact this stage of life can have on you, your family, your colleagues, your friends and that loved one who is making the change in their life.

Still… no ‘one size fits all’
Still… a life change that can side swipe many
Still… a time that many won’t get to experience

Whether it’s a graduation, apprenticeship, A-level results, GCSE results, starting school, starting nursery… the list goes on. They all count as a time of being super proud but, for many, an impact of real grief and loss that should not be underestimated.

3 years on and I’m navigating the next phase… a new University for masters and a new apprenticeship.

Two very different paths forward and both bringing their own emotional empty nest 🪹 feelings…

I still believe this is a time in life we don’t talk about enough and many are left feeling lost.

Please check in with yourself, your loved ones and colleagues now and in the upcoming weeks - it can be a tough one for so many.

"Shall we revisit the conversation?"

It's a simple question, but one that can make all the difference.
Perhaps you've already delivered menopause awareness training. Maybe you've introduced a policy or held a one-off session. But what happens next?

Menopause isn't a conversation to have once and then file away to be forgotten. People's experiences change, symptoms evolve and new challenges arise.
By revisiting the conversation, you're sending a powerful message to your employees: we're still listening, we're still learning and we're still here to support you.

Because meaningful change doesn't happen in a single presentation, it happens when the conversation continues out in the open.

Is it time to revisit yours?
