On Wednesday we celebrated Lisa’s 40th thank you to all who came in for lunch and thank you Janet for the delicious sandwich fillings and making our buffet it was very much appreciated. Thanks also to Craig for the cheesecake

Fantastic Inspection Results for 1st Home Care Irvine!

We’re delighted to share some fantastic news from our 1st Home Care Irvine service.

Following an unannounced inspection by the Care Inspectorate in January, the team has achieved Grade 5 (Very Good) across all three key areas assessed.

This is a brilliant result and reflects the consistently high standard of care and support being delivered every day. Inspectors highlighted the strength of relationships between staff and the people they support, with continuity of care, kindness and professionalism all recognised as key strengths.

Feedback from people and their families was overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting the reliability, warmth and respect shown by the team.

This result reflects the hard work, commitment and care shown across the service, with people always at the centre of everything the team does.

A huge thank you to all of our colleagues at 1st Home Care Irvine. This is an achievement you should be incredibly proud of.

🥞Shrove Tuesday, is the traditional feast day before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday. Lent is the 40 days leading up to Easter. Shrove Tuesday always falls 47 days before Easter Sunday, so the date varies from year to year.

Shrove Tuesday was the last opportunity to use up eggs and fats before embarking on the Lenten fast and pancakes are the perfect way of using up these ingredients.
