We are proud once again to sponsor the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival to ensure venues and thousands of visitors to our great town remain safe throughout the event with Southwest Bars and Events.
The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival is Europe's largest free nautical music and song festival. It is an annual celebration of maritime history, Cornish culture, and seafaring songs. Raising money for the incredible RNLI

We are so incredibly grateful for the amazing team The Flicka Foundation
Donkey Sanctuary near Falmouth! To help protect their hardworking volunteers, visitors, and rescued animals, the Blackrock team recently stopped by to service and maintain the on site fire safety equipment.

Whether you’re keeping a busy charity running or just want to make your own home safer, fire prevention is a community effort! Here are a few simple ways you can keep everyone safe:

Clear Escape Routes: Make sure your escape route is clear and completely free of any clutter.

Electrical Safety: Regularly check your plugs and any extension leads for damage. Never overload your sockets!

Safe Heating: Use fixed heating where possible, If you use any portable heaters, always keep them clear of curtains, bedding, or any flammable materials.

Smoke Alarms: Test your alarms to ensure they are working properly.
