It's World Environment Day 2026 🌱

At Natta, we recognise that the construction industry has an important role to play in protecting and enhancing the environment for future generations.🌍

Through responsible earthworks and sustainable construction practices, we are committed to reducing our impact and delivering work that supports our planet.

We’re proud to have developed our own in-house Solar PV & Battery Storage System for our welfare cabins, harnessing renewable energy to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and traditional generators on site. We have also invested in over 140kW of Solar PV capacity across our Head Office buildings, helping us lower our carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency across our operations. Our investment in sustainable transport includes 29 electric cars and a fleet of electric vans, supported by a number of EV chargers at our Head Office.

By working closely with our clients, supply chain partners and project teams, we continue to seek innovative ways to build more sustainably while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. 👷

As part of Natta’s Employee Recognition Programme, we are delighted to celebrate Yardman Alan Thornton on reaching his 5-year milestone at Natta Plant! 🎉

Over the past five years, Alan has become a valued member of the team, bringing a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to support those around him every day. His dedication helps keep our yard running smoothly.

To celebrate this milestone, Plant Director John Gormley presented Alan with a token of appreciation in recognition of his outstanding commitment over the years.

Great progress shots capturing the tarmacking stage at our Winklebury Way project in Basingstoke!

Working as the Main Contractor for Urban and Civic, we are delivering the S278 infrastructure scheme to transform the existing T-junction into a four-way traffic signal-controlled junction in connection with the Manydown development.

This phase marks another important milestone for the scheme and demonstrates the continued collaboration between our project team, client, and supply chain partners to deliver critical infrastructure safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

As a supporter of the Armed Forces Covenant, yesterday we were delighted to attend the British Forces Resettlement Services - BFRS National Careers Fair at the Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre. 💼

The event brought together employers, training providers, and members of the Armed Forces Community (AFC) to network and explore career opportunities. It was a fantastic day, highlighting the variety of careers in the construction industry and at Natta with candidates from the military community. 👷🏽

By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, Natta is committed to supporting serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families, recognising the valuable contribution they make to both our business and the wider community.

Working alongside our skilled fitting team, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy plant equipment across various construction sites around Essex and Natta locations. The role offers a diverse working environment and an opportunity to play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly.

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual with a strong background in plant fitting, excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

The applicant needs to be based in Essex and willing to travel across our sites. Natta works on a diverse portfolio of projects across the home counties. 📍
