Today we celebrate the incredible dedication, compassion, and hard work of nurses everywhere — and what better way to show our appreciation than with a little something sweet! 🍬

Our wonderful team members Collette McGreevy and Julie Morris took time out of their day to visit some truly amazing care homes — Movilla House, Dunluce Healthcare Group, Summerlee Care Home, and Croftbank Care Home — dropping off hampers packed full of treats for all the incredible nursing teams to enjoy. 🧺🎁

To every nurse across these homes and beyond — thank you. Your tireless dedication to caring for others does not go unnoticed. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are so proud to work alongside you. 💙

What a fabulous day taking part in and finishing the Kiltwalk Big Stroll — 14.5 miles completed! 🎉

We are incredibly proud to have raised an amazing £2,051 for Men Matter Scotland, a charity doing such important work supporting men’s mental health and wellbeing.

🚨 New Course Now Live: Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking

Modern slavery can occur in any community — including within care environments. It is often hidden behind everyday routines and familiar relationships, making it difficult to recognise.

As care professionals, you may be the first — or only — person to notice when something doesn’t feel right.

We’re pleased to announce the release of our Modern Slavery Awareness course, now available on our learning platform.

This course will support care professionals to:

✔️ Understand what modern slavery and human trafficking are

✔️ Recognise different forms of exploitation relevant to care homes

✔️ Identify signs and indicators in residents, visitors, and colleagues

✔️ Understand why some individuals may be at greater risk

✔️ Use professional curiosity appropriately

✔️ Record and report safeguarding concerns correctly

Modern slavery is a safeguarding concern and must always be treated seriously. You are not expected to investigate — your role is to notice, record, and report concerns through the correct procedures.

💡 As with all newly released courses, this module is available to our customers at no additional cost as part of their existing package.
