Estonian sauna ritual magic last week, a potent prelude to the solar eclipse.

One of those experiences which take up eternal residence & resonance in your heart. Thank you for taking me on a journey from day to night & of Fire and Water with your Estonian sauna ritual, leaf whisking, Oxymel brews and all the other magic including wolvine hugs with Noki & Beau who guarded proceedings.

The tradition of Estonian leaf whisking involves a bundle of leaves called a viht being warmed in the sauna, tapped and swept along the body to circulate the blood and melt tension. It’s also used as a hot compress and to cast drops of water like warm rain over you as the smell of the leaves transports you to the forest for trance inducing bliss!

Powerful release & delicious restoration on a day of bone warming sunshine with aromatics of oak leaf, hot grass and incense evoking the Cypriot & Grecian summers of my heritage which I’ve been missing so much.

When you are in the presence of in this way you are held in a cocoon of grounded medicine with someone so aligned to graceful offering and so in tune that the sauna door is opened a second before you have the chance to say you are cooked :) Living like our ancestors, close to the land, an opening ceremony for the body and spirit. A dose of mescal to warm the blood and open fire feasting were the final shots of medicine. The real deal 🔥

Sea witch ~ 25th July ~ A Ritual of Sea & Sound Stade Hall & Classroom on the Coast

Thank you to all who joined me for our night of sea magick.

We were held by the magnetic current of sound and sea, the land of ancient Hastings & Sea Witch brew of Mugwort. A reminder of the history, folklore and connection we hold with the water which surrounds our island.

I chose the Stade Hall so we could be close enough to the sea to sense its salty, elemental charge. The primordial drum pulsed an earthy beat like the silent cliffs around us. The song of seagulls was immersive and the monochord evoked the mythical song of sirens. There is something so vital about the reminder of how our bodies share the composition of water and salt with the sea…the moon casts its phases on the tides of both us and the ocean.

A potent prelude to the majestic buck moon last week.

Thank you to all who joined me for our night of sea magic.

Held by the magnetic current of sound & sea, the land of ancient Hastings & Sea Witch brew of Mugwort, we sailed into the waters of the subconscious and the elemental charge of the sea.

We were close enough to the sea to sense its salty waves & the primordial drum pulsed an earthy beat like the silent cliff. There is something so vital about the reminder of how our bodies share the composition of water and salt with the sea…the moon casts its phases on us and the sea.

Sea Witch ~ 25th July 7pm Stade Hall & Classroom on the Coast ~ an incantation to your inner tides. An honouring of the Genius Loci - the spirit of the land around us. Ceremonial stillness, symphony of crystal bowls, monochord and primordial pulse of the drum, the echo of the lore of the sea and the sipping of a sea witch brew to invoke inner vision.

Looking forward to seeing everyone, thank you to those already booked in, last spaces remaining. Im really happy to be sharing this, it’s been brewing up for a very long time.

The ancients honoured the wild ways of the Jaguar, summoning it’s spirit to align with its power, driven by the beat of the Shamans drum.

The primal beat of the drum stirs the blood, it stirs the spirit and aligns us to the pulse of earth.

In the depths of the mountains of Las Alpujarras & the pine scented hills of Le Marche wise shamanic teachers spoke to me in my 20s of the ceremony of the 4 sacred directions of the medicine wheel and how it is to be shared ritually with others only once you are into your 4th decade of study and overall apprenticeship of life , when you have lived, lost and risen.

As someone in my 4th decade now of sharing, ongoing learning and living, I am often messaged by those unable to travel to me for sessions for advice on finding practitioners and rituals etc

We are now in an age where anyone can access a short online course and then hold an event, denouncing the value of time honoured learning from elders in real face to face time over a long time.
