🔥 Lithium-Ion Batteries: Vapes contain small lithium-ion batteries. When crushed inside garbage trucks or at waste processing facilities, these batteries can spark and cause dangerous, fast-spreading fires.

🌱 Toxic Waste: Vapes contain plastics, heavy metals, and ni****ne residue that can leach into the environment if sent to a landfill.
What should you do instead?

1. Take them to a dedicated drop-off: Most local supermarkets, electronics stores, and municipal recycling centers have specific collection bins for small electrical items and batteries.

2. Store them safely: Keep your used vapes in a dry, cool place away from flammable materials until you can drop them off properly.
