First Sunday off in 7 months so time to go for a bike ride and try out the new Cardo Systems Lazer VeloVox comms system as we find the PackTalk so useful when skiing. And they are a HIT. This rider has a much less sore neck and shoulders from not having to check where Mrs Skiers Lounge is, I was able to warn about potholes and turns. Loved them!

You do need to use your phone to set up the connection unlike the ski version but battery use was 5% per hour on our iPhones and took minutes to set up. You cannot feel them when you are wearing them and the audio is great and faultless through our ride on the South Downs.

Highly recommended!

So once we did our year end stuff, we popped down to Tignes for a few days to test skis from Elan Skis - the new ACE series is stunning, Nordica skis with the new Doberman Multipista a RED HOT carver and of course Extrem Ski Co with the all new Factory 96 still my firm favourite. Most of the team coming down with a gastro virus can’t replace the good times, and our farewell to Clare who has been with us almost from start as she goes off to a well-earned retirement. The “Clare’s Au’Revoir Tour” is complete and we all made it home in one piece if some of us feeling a bit battered thanks to the virus!

HUGE thanks to Elan, Nordica, Extrem, Smith, Carv, Cardo Systems and DaleBoot for creating products we have great fun testing!

And THANK-YOU Clare - you will be missed!!!

Its our year end, and we are now on Summer Hours too, so we will close today to the public and re-open Thursday 23rd ready for our summer season and to offer our bike servicing!

Any orders placed from now will be processed on Thursday due to our annual stock take activities.
