No more low-level 'wired' controllers, as all the heavy lifting is carried via their App. Pre-alignment, manual alignment, commissioning & testing all carried out at the touch of a smart phone, documented & saved in the O&M.

An absolute 'Bluetooth' pleasure to work with... 🙂

The guys were thrilled to be invited to speak at The Institute Of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) event in Wales last week, held at the beautiful historic settings of the National Trust Chirk Castle and Erddig Hall.

It was a pleasure for Roberta to speak, sharing experiences & discussing the unique challenges of working within heritage properties, ensuring the protection of historic fabric & preserving architectural integrity, when designing & installing active & passive fire protection systems.

A huge thank you to the Team at IHBC & National Trust, for the invitation and for bringing together professionals who share a passion for preserving our heritage buildings.

Major service to the aspirating smoke detection on the Chester Rows.

Over a period of time, the sampling holes slowly decrease in size, with airborne dust & grime, which is blown around the streets, in all seasonal weather.

Each ASD sampling hole gets the ‘brush treatment’, clearing the holes & returning the software back to ‘set point’. Crude, but it really does work 🙂 All screen shots & software downloads are then added to the S*M documentation for the Council [pre & post airflow].

A few raised eyebrows & questions from the public, when they see a ‘brush on a stick’…

Brad - "After almost 3 decades of working in the fire detection & alarm industry, you get to believe that you’ve almost seen it all…"

A relatively recent hybrid FD&A system we installed in a heritage stately home; now has new residents using a couple of the field devices to roost on.

A pre-alarm investigation discovered that a call to the ecologist was required to find a solution to this conundrum 🙂

We don’t think cat collars will work here…

Our wireless wizardry monster project this Summer is almost complete.

A few weeks was spent replacing a ‘tired’ 500+ fire detection & fire alarm system with a shiny new wireless system. As standard with our projects, False Alarm Management Alarm Verification has been programmed within the software to eradicate/reduce unwanted public evacuation.

We worked meticulously, throughout 2no. Grade II* listed buildings, amongst ‘very expensive’ artefacts, paintings, sculptures and hidden archives…
