Today we spent the day exploring PR Necessities for Business Growth — and one of the biggest takeaways was that your business probably has more stories to tell than you realise!

We looked at what makes a story newsworthy and what journalists are really looking for:

❤️ Human interest
💡 Stories that have an impact

From client wins and business milestones to personal journeys and community involvement, there could be PR opportunities hiding in your business right now — you just need to know how to spot them!

One week to go!

If you’re a sole trader or landlord with a turnover over £50,000, your first Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax quarterly update is due by 7 August.

Now is a good time to check that you’re using compatible software and are ready to submit your income and expenses to HMRC on time.

MTD will also be extended to smaller businesses in the coming years, so it’s worth understanding the new requirements now.
