They need fewer moving parts, clearer decisions, and the confidence to commit to one direction long enough for people to actually recognise it.

Complexity feels intelligent inside sport.

But the best strategies I’ve seen are almost boring in their simplicity.

You don’t have to struggle with a strategy.

I bet you’ve actually still just got a clarity problem you’re trying to solve with complex ideas.

People often jump straight to “there”… without really understanding “here”.

So they guess. Add layers. Overthink it. Then wonder why nothing moves.

Try this instead:
Get brutally honest about where you are. Get specific about where you’re going. Then remove what’s in the way.

That’s it.

If your brand only shows up when things are going well, it disappears just as quickly.

The athletes who properly build something show up when it’s quiet. When it’s hard. When no one’s watching.

That’s where long value is built.
