Today I had beautiful time teaching beginners sewing class with a clients

Mother bring daughter to learn how to sewing machine and I was seeing how mother was talking and feel about her memories with her grandmother when she was 11 years old

Today was only to teach the daughter to sew but feeling her mother longing I ask mother to get in the sewing machine to experience it. After she sew she start feel very emotional of the connections and memories she had with her grandmother from the past in childhood.

Today her daughter have a remembering memories with her mother doing sewing in my class for a lifetime to remember and cherish the memories like her mother had with her grandmother.

This is why I Iove my work by seeing, feeling and giving little happiness to someone is so beautiful moment I cherish with everyone!

Fantastic event at Barbican Library last Saturday 9th May promoting their newly opened Library of Things

You can hire a sewing machine for less than £10 overnight, as well as many other DIY items. Check their website for full details and sign up!

It was fantastic meeting so many residents who wanted to learn to use a machine. So many happy faces including families and young children - sewing is for everyone! 🧵🪡

Thank you to Barbican Library, Library of Things, City of London Corporation Recycling Team for setting up this fantastic event and for your wonderful support also thanks to our beautiful Jacqui Roberts Webster for cutting the ribbon. Events like this really lift up & empower the local community.

Absolutely fantastic day yesterday of fixing, mending and creativity with City of London residents as part of London Repair Week.

I’m delighted that so many people came along with jumpers, jackets, bags, buttons, dresses and more to learn how to fix themselves with a little guidance from me. 🪡 🧵 many thanks to my wonderful team!

It’s always lovely to see the smiling faces of folks who have saved a loved item from being thrown away by learning a new skill. Well done all you wonderful menders!

This solo performance is an exploration of spirit and strength, inspired by The Master and Margarita. I’m especially proud of how the golden sheer costume responds to the choreography designed to move, breathe, and amplify every gesture under stage lighting.
