This one feels particularly special because it’s for one of my client’s that I’ve worked with right from the beginning of NLB 💙
Over that time, my role has covered so many different things, which makes this the perfect example of what we mean when we say our support doesn’t fit neatly into one box 😂
More recently, I’ve been involved in his Property Development and HMO projects and my role has expanded from the usual business support into… interior design! 🏡
For this project, I’ve helped choose and source furniture, furnishings and accessories, pull together the overall look and feel of the rooms, decide what works together and sort those finishing touches that turn an empty property into somewhere that actually feels like a home! Warm, cosy but also bright too!
There have been A LOT of links, photos, ideas, mock ups and “what do you think of this one?” messages along the way!
So after spending so much time working on everything from behind my laptop, I finally got to go down and see the finished HMO in person!
And I absolutely LOVE how it’s all come together 😍🏡
There’s something really lovely about working with a client for such a long time and getting to be involved in completely new projects as their business grows and evolves and then meeting them in person too!
Sometimes I’m providing the more traditional business support and sometimes I’m helping on more project specific work too!
And apparently sometimes I’m choosing bedside tables, artwork and cushions 😂 (which I LOVE!!!)
But that’s exactly what I love about the work I do, we don’t decide what support should look like and then try to squeeze our clients into it.
We look at what they actually need and take the pressure off.
And after being involved with this project for so long, actually getting to walk through the finished property and see everything we’d discussed, sourced and planned come together was a very proud moment 🥹💙
