It's been a rewarding few weeks for the team, as we continue to support businesses and promote the city centre.

Our MP Andrew Pakes gave us his continued support at our second term success 'thank you' event.

One of our planters became home to a lodger!

Pep attended the launch of the cathedral's The Heart Of The City Partnership, and presented at the Rotary Club of Peterborough.

Emma was interviewed on Look East about our crime reporting app and partnership working to tackle shoplifting.

Pep and Terri were invited to the ARU Peterborough 5th anniversary event.

We are proud to be members of the Peterborough Tourist Board, and we hosted the most recent meeting. At the meeting, the board discussed continuous development of the Discover Peterborough website and the new appointment of the city’s tourism & visitor economy manager.

Today we held our second city regeneration networking event, in collaboration with Peterborough City Council.

It was great to give our businesses the opportunity to share any questions or queries they have surrounding the Station Quarter regeneration project, Pride in Place funding and the City Visioning project.

Today we were at ARU’s Student Fair, in celebration of the new academic year!👩‍🎓

We shared our student directory that includes discounts to many city centre businesses. It was great to see other city centre businesses there sharing their offerings with the students.

Following the success of our last litter pick, where we collected 40 bags of rubbish in less than 2 hours, we are planning our next city centre litter pick. It will take place on Wednesday 30th September 2pm - 4pm.

This week we attended the ARU Peterborough : Five years of Impact celebration event!

It was amazing to celebrate the University’s achievements and the collective contribution that has helped shape its success over the past five years with partners, governors and businesses.

As part of our regular walkaround with MP Andrew Pakes, we were joined by Chief Constable Simon Megicks.

We were able to introduce Simon to businesses that are continuing to experience crime and anti-social behaviour, so that he could hear first hand about some of the challenges we still face.

Businesses also reported a marked difference in the level of policing and how the partnership between us, police and the city council is starting to make a positive difference.
