RHVA Virtual Assistant

RHVA Virtual Assistant RHVA provides professional administrative support to businesses & individuals. Hello, I’m Rachel Hands (nee Willmott) the owner of RHVA.

Throughout my working life I have been involved in Customer Service & administration at a Management level. With that comes the skills of being able to change focus quickly and adding value where needed. Over the 7 years I have been a VA I’ve worn the many different hats of a small business owner so understand the pressures and variety of roles this entails. You know you need to focus on the tasks

that make you money but the boring tasks need completing also, so they accumulate and inevitably you work a weekend & a few late nights catching up. RHVA takes away those important but non profitable tasks from businesses to make their time count and allowing their business room to grow. Working to deadlines is a given, but there are ways to reduce the amount of pressure by making full use of the resources and experience available to you. One of which is RHVA, we can undertake your administrative tasks and can be your complete back office solution. We work with you to create a strong relationship allowing you to be more proactive and more importantly to save time and make money.

Over the years we’ve gotten to know our clients pretty well.

Since 2013 we’ve been supporting a variety of business owners, in different industries and at different stages of their journey.

The one thing they have in common?

They understand that to be successful they don’t need to do everything themselves.

We’re honoured to be able to work with these brilliant businesses and play a part in their development.

What do you love most about your clients? Let me know in the comments.

What is your most requested service?

We’ve been successfully supporting coaches, consultants, trainers, CEOs, and directors for almost 10 years.

Our most commonly requested service is our Virtual PA support. These ambitious business owners come to us because they’re running out of time to complete their never-ending “to-do list”.

That’s where our Virtual PA Support comes in.

It provides business owners with an extra pair of hands to maintain an organised back office, so they have more time to focus on the front side.

The most requested services are:

🔸Meeting arrangements
🔸Diary management
🔸Email monitoring & actioning
🔸Internet research
🔸Managing to-do lists & setting reminders

Our clients go from feeling overworked and overwhelmed to having clarity and time freedom!

Let me know in the comments, do you have a most requested service?

Let’s get back to it!

Short work weeks can be difficult. Especially if you haven’t planned it in advance as it can mean cramming a 5 day week into 4, which ends in stress and endless to-do lists.

This week we’re getting back to it the best way we know how…by supporting our clients!

On the agenda for the RHVA team this week:

🔸Scheduling client meetings
🔸Creating on brand work documents
🔸Monitoring and actioning client emails
🔸Tweaking and making website updates
🔸Ad hoc admin depending on clients needs

It’s our aim to work with our clients, to really understand their business and help make their lives easier!

How is your week looking?

Hello Bank Holiday Monday 👋

It has been such a lovely long weekend.

I always find Easter weekend comes at a perfect time in life and in business.

After settling into quarter 2 and working hard towards our goals, the long weekend is a much welcome rest!

I’ve spent the weekend with my family, going to our favourite spots in Rugby and indulging in all of the Easter food.

A weekend well spent brings a week of content, that is for sure! Refreshed and looking forward to being back to client work tomorrow.

How did you spend your Bank Holiday weekend? Let me know in the comments.

Do you know how to effectively follow up with previous clients? It’s an essential part of the sales process, and there are various reasons you might need to use it. You may have had a positive sales conversation with them, but they’ve yet to decide if they want to work with you. And they may have worked with you but are now at the end of their contract.

No matter the reasons, know that follow-up isn’t just about emailing and phoning a previous client to see if they want to work with you again! It’s about being in their world and staying in front of their mind to help build relationships. You want to be in a position where you see each other as a practical and valuable resource for your businesses. And yes, that could include working with each other further down the line.

So if you’re wondering how to use that process effectively, here are five simple ways you can use to get started with following up with your previous clients.

How do you spend your Friday?

Is it a day of work, a CEO day, or a day off?

I prefer to leave Fridays free, although I do enjoy spending time preparing for the coming week.

That usually includes a desk clean-up; after a long week, my desk is in desperate need of some TLC.

Working in a cluttered atmosphere is difficult and distracting for me, and studies suggest that it can make us less productive and anxious, not to mention a lot less time spent looking for that elusive piece of paperwork on your desk.

So this is as good a reason as any for a little spring clean.

Drop an emoji in the comments to represent how your desk looks.

Are you letting the little things eat into your time and energy?

It’s often the little things that can make the biggest difference, and that’s no different with your time and energy. Time is such an important commodity, and we often spend it looking for ways to work faster and more efficiently. But energy is just as important too. It fluctuates naturally throughout the day, and we only have a limited amount of it on any given day.

But if you want to perform well at work, you need to learn how to manage both. And that involves getting clear on what is eating into your available time and energy resources. Because often, it’s the little things that go unnoticed that can have the biggest impact.

This time of the year always brings so much reflection…

At RHVA, we’re going to be spending time reviewing how the last quarter went and setting goals for the quarter ahead.

I love this time of year! Not only is the weather on the up, but it’s the perfect opportunity in business to identify what is working, what isn’t and how changes can be made.

These are some questions to ask when doing your quarterly review…

➡️ What went well? What were your wins?
➡️ What challenges did I face?
➡️ What 3 parts/tasks did I really love?
➡️ What 3 parts/tasks did I not enjoy?
➡️ What did I learn in the previous quarter?
➡️ What do I want to get out of the next quarter?
➡️ How do I want to feel in the next quarter/
It’s a perfect chance to take a pause and realign Q2 plans with overall business goals.

Tell me, what will you do differently this quarter? Or what will you continue to do? Tell me in the comments! ⬇️
