Blue sky thinking time! One of the great freedoms of running an online business is that if the sun comes out I can take time for a winter walk on the beach and do my weekly review from the comfort of a cosy cafe.

Intention was certainly the buzz word today at Mind Body Spirit. Almost every talk and workshop touched on the Power of Intention. ✨✨🌟

And I learned that the word comes from the latin word intendere meaning "stretching or purpose".

I enjoyed that as it can be stretching setting an intention and holding to it. But hold we must and when we do the magic happens. The energy lines up and you create the reality you intend. The reality you desire. The reality you dream of.

Let's talk self talk ... the little voice in our head that seems to thrive on a good dose of self sabotage. Who knows where it comes from but we often 'stick the knife in' with our self talk. 😈

When did you last use words like Unique, Worthy, Brave, Extraordinary in your self chatter? If they don't feel comfortable maybe it is time to get comfortable with them.

Try them on for size, give them a test ride and see how they pick you up. ✨✨💛💛

Make a pact with yourself and switch to them for just three days. If the little demon 😈 of self talk gets a bit too vocal take charge and flip to the true story.
