Planning application for new nets at Wem Cricket Club

The Planning Group were proud to assist Wem Cricket Club with their application for new practice cricket nets; an enclosed 2 lane system with synthetic carpet surfacing for each lane, a steel skeleton along with heavy duty netting.
The cricket club is in the centre of Wem and, due to its proximity to residential houses, the planning application required a Noise Assessment, a comprehensive Business Plan, Bio Diversity Net Gain Report and a consultation with Sport England. The application was granted by Shropshire Council, and the new nets will soon be up and running and providing an important training facility at the grounds.
