Encouraging Manufacturing, Industrial and Systems (MIS) engineering stakeholders to better understand the practical applications of the MIS Engineering in the industry is one of the missions of MIS Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE). Over the years, MIS Division has organized various activities for the engineering industries such as project competitions, technical visits, seminars and symposiums. 🗣🗣

In this year, we are going to run the HKIE MIS Industry Award 2023-24 with the aim to recognize the excellent achievements of relevant industries in Hong Kong in enhancing their manufacturing productivity, product quality and innovation in real industrial context. 🏭🏭

The HKIE is now calling for submission of innovative projects for Cyberport's entrepreneurship programme via the fast-track channel under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with Cyberport earlier. All HKIE members are encouraged to join the Innovation & Technology (I&T) industry and unleash their entrepreneurial spirit.

Submission deadline: 31 August 2023.

[25 May 2023] Seminar on The Success Way to Beating AI and Building a Successful Business


The Artificial Intelligence platform, ChatGPT becomes a hot topic and being applied in different applications, such generating ppt, comic and animation movies. Some computer experts expect AI to replace human to carry out routine tasks and some current jobs will disappear and territory institutions are argue if ChatGPT is allowed to be used. The speaker, Mr. Brian Cha (Enterprise Business Coacher) is invited to present how the youngers and experienced engineers shall prepare to suit the new circumstances.
