“Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come.”
— Proverbs 31:25
Throughout the Bible, we encounter strong women who fought not with their fists or through arguments, but on their knees—with power, dignity, and authority. Deborah, Hannah, Ruth, Abigail…
Their passion for defending their homes, families, and territories was part of what gave them victory, even in a time when women were often expected to remain silent.
Just like the Samurai women, who governed their possessions, cared for their children, and managed their livestock while their husbands went to war, there is a generation of women today who are being called to walk in that same dignity and authority. They are not called to appear weak, hopeless, or weaponless, but to be armoured with power and might, standing firmly on the Word of God and calling those things that are not as though they were.
They are called to stand at the gates in the face of their adversary and defend what belongs to them. These are sisters, wives, widows, and women of valor—women chosen in Heaven and recognized even in the spiritual realm. They are women who understand that their greatest weapon is not physical strength, but faith, prayer, the Word of God, dignity, authority, and unwavering obedience to God.
