Poverty, unemployment and limited economic opportunities affect millions of Nigerians, especially young people. Many remain unemployed or underemployed while families struggle with rising living costs.
FMG Platform Empowerment Limited believes that unemployment should not mean helplessness and limited capital should not prevent people from creating legitimate income.
The Money on the Streets Programme is a practical empowerment, mentorship and wealth-creation initiative that helps Nigerians identify opportunities, develop useful skills and turn them into sustainable income.
The Philosophy: Money Is on the Streets
People constantly buy products, pay for services, rent properties, build houses, insure assets and conduct other transactions.
Behind these activities are opportunities.
Money on the Streets teaches participants to recognise opportunities, connect buyers and sellers, create value and build legitimate income streams.
Participants learn practical ways to start small businesses, facilitate transactions and develop multiple income sources.
What Participants Will Learn Developing an entrepreneurial mindset. Identifying legitimate local income opportunities. Starting selected businesses with minimal capital. Connecting customers, businesses, products and services. Building retail and service businesses. Increasing business productivity and profitability. Creating useful networks and collaborations. Developing financial discipline and working towards independence.
Results depend on participants’ effort, skills, circumstances and market conditions. The programme does not guarantee specific income or profit.
Mentorship and Counselling
Participants receive three months of complimentary counselling and mentorship to help them apply what they learn, remain accountable and overcome challenges.
