A few months ago I made a small graphic to thank 52 subscribers.
Fifty-two people. No sales team, no funding, no big launch. Just fifty-two quantity surveyors, estimators and contractors who clicked a link from a QS most of them had never met, and decided to try it on real work.
This morning the dashboard read 2,027 users.
A lot has changed since that graphic. New logo. A takeoff engine that's actually fast. BOQ generation that doesn't keep you waiting. Rate build-up, material and labour schedules, and Excel and PDF exports clean enough to put in front of a client without apologising.
But here's the part I want you to know: almost none of that came from me sitting alone with a plan.
It came from the 11pm message telling me a formwork factor looked wrong β and it was wrong. From screenshots of BOQs that didn't add up. From the "abeg, can you add this?" that turned into a feature two weeks later. From a contractor in Mushin showing me exactly where the thing broke on his site. That is the roadmap. That has always been the roadmap.
So, properly: thank you.
To the QS who tested it on one small project and stayed. To the estimator who forwarded the link to a colleague without being asked. To the contractor who ran a live tender through a browser tab because he believed it would hold.
You didn't just sign up. You built this with me.
Now one small favour.
We got from 52 to 2,027 the same way we'll get to the next number β one person telling another. If MeasurerAi has saved you time on a takeoff, a BOQ or a rate build-up, tell somebody. Your colleague in the office. The estimator you trained with. The contractor still doing his quantities in a notebook. Send them the link, or forward this message.
That's how a Nigerian tool gets built by Nigerians, for Nigerians.
