The internet has changed the way that we interact and has made it easier for people to harass each other. There are few studies which describe the consequences of sexual harassment online. How many people experience sexual harassment, and what implications does it have in their lives?

With support from Swedens Innovation Agency, Vinnova, itch has been working to understand what these consequences are and what we can do about it. Come join us on the 6th of September at our itch Gathering #17 to share our learnings and discuss the subject together!

We are so happy to share with you guys that we are joining the MIND // SHIFT movement for the work of creating mental wellbeing.

For three days in the ruin of Helge Ands at Almedalen we will host talks and collaborate with experts of different spectrum of the topic to together initiate this movement.

We hope to meet you at the ruin between the 1st-3rd of July to help us start this movement for mental wellness.

Have you been exposed to sexual harassment online?
Do you want to help us understand how we design solutions that prevent this?

Sofia Ahlström and Marina Öhman are currently conducting interviews to gain a better insight into the subject and get feedback on our ideas. The goal is to create prototypes that will be presented to the big social media platforms. DM here or email [email protected] if you are interested in participating in an interview.

PS. No experiences are too “small”, sexual harassment online is very normalized and most of us have been exposed to it in some way.
AND the interview is of course anonymous.

We are so proud to see Peder Sjölander, CIO Migrationsverket, proudly present our ongoing project OpenSweden at yesterday.

OpenSweden is a vision and concrete solution for how a life event-based government-wide framework for Sweden's inhabitants could look like. Our task was to develop a prototype for how a service could take care of people in one of many life events - New in Sweden and Sweden Turn and Return for new and returning Swedes.

We challenged the brief and let the prototype showed the way forward.

Now, one month later, four collaborating authorities work together. The Swedish Public Employment Service, The Swedish Migration Agency, The Swedish Tax Agency and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency ensuring the underlying ecosystem, law, security and counting on benefits.

A good proof that it is possible to speed up the tempo in government authorities when working both with needs- and hypothesis driven in a cross-functional team.

Our proudness doesn’t have any boundaries.
