A new school year brings a lot of questions about what comes next.

What classes should I take? What should I major in? What careers would actually be a good fit?

I love helping students move from “I have no idea” (or even "I think I know") to a clearer understanding of the paths that fit who they are.

Thank you, Elizabeth, for sharing your experience! 💙

If your student could use some clarity and direction this school year, I’d love to help.

A few years ago, a student named Mallory came to me feeling discouraged.

She'd chosen engineering because she was bright, good at math and science, and everyone assumed it was the right fit. But the deeper she got, the more something felt off. She wasn't failing—she just wasn't thriving.

As we talked through her natural abilities, interests, and values, the pieces started to click. She still loved solving problems. Just not engineering's kind of problems.

When I spoke with her after our meeting she told me:

"I no longer felt lost. I finally had a guide."

That's the whole point of this work. Students don't need someone handing them a major. They need to understand themselves well enough to choose one with confidence.

That's why I created my free Chart Your Path Workbook—not to find the "perfect" major, but to help your student get clearer on who they are before they decide.

Every student deserves to feel a little less lost and a lot more confident.

One of my clients entered college convinced she was going to be an engineer. She was smart. She excelled in math and science. Everyone agreed it was the "right" path.

But after a few semesters, she felt stuck.
The classes didn't energize her anymore. She began questioning everything:
"Should I keep going? Am I just giving up? What if I choose the wrong thing again?"

She needed to understand why engineering no longer felt like the right fit, and someone to help her explore other options.

As we explored her natural abilities, personality, interests, and values, everything started to make sense. She realized she still loved solving complex problems—but not the kinds of problems engineering asked her to solve. She was drawn to big ideas, collaboration, ethics, and the human side of science.

Today, she has completed a master's degree in Medical Ethics and Law and is in Law school. When I checked in with her she told me:
"The meeting helped me find happiness and accomplishment. I no longer felt lost—I finally had a guide."

Her story is exactly why I created my free Chart Your Path Guide.

Whether your student is just beginning to think about college or is already questioning their current path, this guide will help them start with the most important question:
Who am I, and what kind of work will allow me to thrive?

If your child is a junior or senior this year, chances are college conversations are about to become much more frequent.

Questions like:
• What should I major in?
• Which colleges should I visit?
• What if I don't know what I want to do?

These questions make students feel like they need to have all the answers right now. But truthfully, the best college decisions don't start with choosing a school. They start with understanding who you are.

Before your student spends hours researching colleges, comparing majors, or filling out applications, take some time to clarify their strengths, interests, values, and goals.

That's exactly why I created my free Chart Your Path Workbook.

It's designed to help students (and parents!) begin meaningful conversations and take the first steps toward a future that fits.

I’m grateful to organizations like Realtors of South Central Kansas (RSCK) that intentionally invest in the growth and development of their people. When organizations make time for their teams to better understand their strengths, communication styles and natural ways of solving problems, everyone benefits.

A special thank you to Jenna Bottolfsen of Wallace Associates for being such a wonderful collaborator. Combining her expertise with DiSC and my work with the Highlands Ability Battery made for an engaging and meaningful workshop. I love to partner with someone who shares a passion for helping people better understand themselves and one another.

Thank you RSCK for trusting us with your leadership development. Here’s to organizations that believe their greatest investment is their people 💙
