Delta Dental will charge you $15/week JUST to get a paper check. 😳
Jan 1, 2027 — EFT becomes standard. EFT = free. Paper check = $15 weekly processing fee.
That’s $780 a year.
Out-of-network is exempt for now. In-network is not.

😐 Can’t even drive in peace…

Dental biller on a day off!

My brain has more than 4 tabs open and none of them is actually driving 😭

1. Work thoughts: I wonder how much insurance posting tomorrow. It’s gonna be busy for sure.
2. Did I pay my bill for…?
3. I’m already hungry, what am I eating for dinner?
4. I wanna watch a documentary tonight…
5. Did I turn that light off?
6…..

I need my B1 vitamin for this brain basically on Autopilot. 😬

👀 Your claim was clean. Codes were right. Still denied.

CO-87. And it’s not what you think.
It doesn’t mean you coded wrong. It means insurance says they never got the attachment you referenced — an X-ray, narrative, referral form, whatever you attached when you sent the claim.

Most of the time the attachment was too big, wrong format, or the clearinghouse just didn’t transmit it. And nobody caught it until the denial landed.

What to do instead:

🔹 Confirm the attachment format before you submit (PDF, not TIFF)

🔹 Check file size limits — most cap at 5MB

🔹 Open the clearinghouse portal and verify the attachment shows as “received” on the claim detail

🔹 If it doesn’t show, the insurer never saw it. Resubmit is fast if you catch it early. Re-attach, confirm in the portal, and you’re back in business.
