If your day gets derailed every time something unexpected comes up…

Your workday system isn’t strong enough.

A good system doesn’t break when priorities shift.

It’s flexible.
It adapts.
It allows you to pivot without forgetting anything.

Here’s how:
✅ Keeping tasks all in one place.
✅ Giving each task an action date.
✅ Reprioritizing as your day changes (not in your head, but in a system)
✅ Focus on what matters for today—not everything at once

Flexibility doesn’t come from “winging it.”

It comes from having a structure you can count on—then adjust as needed.

Learn how to use a reliable system that will support you as priorities shift during our Taskology summer sale, going on now until August 11th. Discount code “summersale” to get your 40% discount at checkout.

Here's something most organizations won't admit. The chaos of the modern workday isn't caused by bad managers. It's caused by the chaos of how work is being managed.

Most managers were never taught how to handle the volume and velocity of modern work. Many just mimicked a former boss. And then they got blamed for poor outcomes while operating with a broken system - or no system at all.

The problem isn't you. It's the system you're using, or lack thereof. Operational leadership determines where an organization is going. Operational ex*****on determines whether it ever gets there. Which one is really missing?

You’re not supposed to remember every follow-up.

And yet… most professionals try to.

No wonder it feels exhausting.

💡 Relief doesn’t come from doing less.
It comes from carrying less.
And the right system gives you that.

My client Sandy is in charge of a practice group in a $77 million accounting firm with 300 employees. She manages a team of 16. She's a wife, mother of two teenage boys, shareholder in the company, treasurer for three boards, and daughter of two aging parents who own a family business.

She spends so much of her time coaching her team, handling Q&A, problem solving, and putting out fires - while still trying to accomplish her own work. With everything moving so fast, she consistently feels like she's missing things.

When she first contacted me, she said: "I'm feeling very overwhelmed and it's impacting my health and happiness." She's 47 but feels like she's 67 from how tired she is every day. And Sandy's story is not unique.

Here's something no one talks about. Organizations invest massive amounts in leadership training for their managers - communication, emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, you name it. But almost no one is teaching managers the skill they actually need most: how to manage the work itself.

Think about it. Before 9 a.m., a manager has already absorbed dozens of emails, messages, requests, and calendar changes. Their team is lining up at the door. And they're trying to figure out what deserves their attention first.

Who's teaching managers how to handle all of that? Almost no one. And that's exactly why modern managers are having a meltdown.

If you feel behind, is it because you have too much to do?
Or is it because you simply don’t know where to start?

When tasks are scattered everywhere...
• in email
• In voicemail
• in meeting notes
• in texts
• on the calendar
• in your memory
..that’s not a system. That’s fragmentation.

Instead, CENTRALIZE your tasks. It’s the key to clarity, relief, and empowerment.

When everything is in one place, your brain can finally stop JUGGLING.

And you’ll have a MUCH easier time of DOING.

👉 Want help with creating your Mission Control, step-by-step?

Here’s where to start:

✅ Pick ONE place to manage tasks
✅ Pull tasks AWAY of their sources
✅ Give every task a clear action date

Managers account for 70% of team engagement.

But manager engagement itself has dropped from 30% to 22% in two years.

After working with leaders and managers for more than two decades, I've discovered that disengagement isn't the real problem.

It's the result of two much larger forces reshaping the manager's workday.

And it’s not a people problem.

If you're a manager being asked to do more than ever while receiving less support, swipe through.

📧 You flag email relentlessly...
Only to flag dozens that just scroll off the screen.

📉 You create an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of to-dos...
And then give up from the high maintenance.

📌 You make a rainbow of sticky note reminders...
But the urgent ones disappear in the shuffle on your desk.

It’s time for a change.

You need a single system that’s...
🙏 consolidated
✅ convenient
📱 & digital.

One that keeps up with both you AND your work.

Listen in as I talk with my client, Mark King, CFO of the Telcom Insurance Company, as he describes how Taskology not only transformed his workday, but his entire life.
