😲 Managers, are you feeling interruption-driven all day, every day? Do you feel distracted most of the time?
Are you having trouble getting time to think, work, and focus? 🎯
If you keep an “all-day, open-door policy," it's because you feel like you have to be available 24/7 to your team.
But you don't have to.
You deserve (as everyone deserves) some “closed-door,” quiet time every day.
This time is necessary to work on tasks, to process email, and to think. 🧠
If your time is *always* available to others, they will take it.
Then you’ll be stuck trying to make progress in the left-over scraps of time.
🚪Block time and close your door at certain points during the day to get quiet time so you can produce make tangible progress and generate high-quality outcomes.
During this time, don’t pick up the phone 🚫☎️ and don't look at email🚫📧.
Instead, FOCUS on the task at hand. Work from start to finish. ONE task at a time.
➡️ This is how REAL progress happens.
If you don’t protect your time, others will take it—and reaching your goals will always come last.
This is YOUR time. Make it your priority to protect it.
