Before there was an International Olympic Committee, there was a blueprint.

Pierre de Coubertin’s four-page handwritten plan to revive the Olympic Games dates to Jan. 30, 1894—nearly five months before the committee was founded.

The historic manuscript is now up for auction in RR Auction’s Remarkable Rarities sale, closing Sept. 24.

A complete set of Beatles signatures would be remarkable. This 1964 program has that—and then seven more.

The original British “Beatles Ltd.” program is signed by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr over a full-band photograph, with seven additional signatures across the individual portrait pages.

The final count: Lennon four times, Starr three times, and McCartney and Harrison twice each—for a total of 11 Beatles autographs.
