Please welcome Cameron Koziarz to Brand825 as our new Marketing Ops Strategist! 🎉

Cam brings 13+ years of experience across demand generation, marketing operations, brand strategy and RevOps, with work spanning fast-growing startups, midsized financial institutions and global brands. He’s launched a fintech company’s first account-based marketing program, built a SaaS marketplace’s first Marketing Ops team, and led complex HubSpot implementations as a senior consultant at a Diamond-tier HubSpot Solutions Partner. He’s no stranger to our team, either: through his consultancy, KoziMarketing, Cam previously partnered with us on a financial-services client’s HubSpot implementation and nurture program. Now he’s helping grow our HubSpot and RevOps services, connecting the campaigns our clients run with the systems, data and reporting that make them work.

Based in Nashville with his wife, Michelle, Cam is a lifelong hockey player and spent five seasons as a high school varsity coach. Off the clock, you’ll find him playing guitar, golfing, traveling with Michelle and their dogs, and cheering on the Blackhawks and Bears with the loyalty and patience only Chicago fans understand. Welcome to the team, Cam!

By now you’ve seen it. A Dancing with the Stars contestant was apparently so locked in on his smoothie that he missed Jennifer Lawrence on 8th Ave.... and the internet is loving it.🥤🪩

It’s also a pretty good marketing lesson that the opportunity usually isn’t hidden. It’s the person who’s been quietly engaging with your content for months. The past client who still sends referrals. The comment you scrolled right past.

Pay attention to who’s already paying attention to you!

Would you click this? đź‘€

Same budget. Same audience. Only one of these gets the click, and it's not even close.

Option A: "We Help Businesses Grow"
Option B: "Booked Solid by Q2? Here's How We Got Them There"

If your headline could belong to any business in your industry, it's probably not doing its job.

Which one would you click? Comment A or B. 👇

91% of businesses now use video as part of their marketing. Short-form video has the highest reported return of any format marketers are using right now.

You don't need a product to demo. A quick explanation of a process, a client FAQ, or a walkthrough of what to expect working with you does the job just as well!

A lot of businesses decide to wait until their content "runs out" of ideas before changing anything.

A better signal is if engagement or inquiries have been flat for a month, you test something, not wait it out. Format, timing, topic, channel.... pick one and actually change it.

74% of buyers only trust reviews from the last three months. A glowing testimonial from two years ago isn't doing the work you think it is.

If review collection isn't a regular part of your client or customer process, that's worth fixing before anything else this quarter. Build it into the end of onboarding or project close, ask one specific question, and make it routine.

Starbucks doesn't really sell a flavored latte in the fall. It sells a tradition. The PSL shows up and suddenly it's fall, whether the weather forecast agrees or not.

It's not about pumpkin spice itself, but it has become a recognizable cue. Do you have something that people start anticipating and associating with your brand specifically, year after year?

Most businesses think they need a product to pull this off, but you don't. A consistent year-end client gift, a recurring seasonal campaign, even a specific email send every October, any of it can become "a thing" if you do it enough times for people to expect it.

What's your version of the PSL?

Your buyers aren't just Googling anymore. They're asking ChatGPT, scrolling LinkedIn, and reading Reddit threads before they ever fill out a contact form.

That changes what "being found" actually means. It's not just ranking on page one. It's showing up in the places your buyer is doing research right now, in whatever form that research takes.

Every marketer has a mental list of platforms they've written off... Maybe a campaign flopped. Maybe it felt like a fad. Maybe your audience seemed to leave, so you did too.

AI search is quietly changing the math on channels you may have dismissed. Facebook isn't dead, it's just older and still spending. Reddit and YouTube have become major sources AI tools pull from when they answer buyer questions. Even review sites are pulling double duty, helping AI find you and helping buyers trust what it says.

We broke down all five, including where each one actually earns its keep and how to test one without overextending your team.
