Congratulations to Kira Boegeman on earning her Certified Snow Professional (CSP) designation!

As Ken and Nicole’s daughter, Kira has grown up around Swinter and the snow and ice industry. Over the years, she’s pitched in with everything from data entry and measuring properties to heading out in the field with Ken to check properties and even doing a little sidewalk crew work herself.

This summer, Kira worked with our expert witness team, helping review cases and summarize industry standards.

Now, as she heads into her first year of law school, she can add CSP to her accomplishments. Congratulations, Kira, on earning one of the snow and ice industry’s most respected professional designations!

What does a snow company do over the spring and early summer? Quite a bit, actually!

Our team has been analyzing our wins and areas for improvement, sharing industry knowledge, recognizing great work, and preparing for the season ahead.

We hosted both a company retreat and a Lunch & Learn series, spoke and exhibited at the SIMA Symposium, and celebrated our Top Contractors. There’s been plenty happening behind the scenes!

The snow may be gone, but we’re already getting ready for its return.

Congratulations to our President, Ken Boegeman, on becoming one of the first to earn SIMA’s new Certified Deicer Applicator (CDA) credential!

As the industry’s only national credential for responsible deicing practices, the CDA recognizes knowledge in effective material application, equipment calibration, environmental responsibility, safety, and professional best practices.

We’re proud to see Ken continue to lead by example in the snow and ice industry!
