Mark your calendars!

Get ready to hit the greens for a fantastic day of networking and competition at the AmSpirit Business Connections Golf Outing, taking place on Friday, September 4th, 2026, at Hartman’s Deep Valley in Harmony, PA. Registration kicks off at 7:30 am followed by a 9:00 am shotgun start, which requires about 75 golfers to secure (we currently have around 30, so your participation is key!). For a $100 per player entry fee, you'll enjoy a full day of golf, hot dogs at the turn, a buffet-style dinner around 2:00 pm, and complimentary pop and water—plus a mega networking event during dinner to build valuable professional connections.
​We are also looking for community support to make this event a major success! We need 5 to 6 volunteers to help with setup, registration, and to act as Par 3 Spotters for the Hole-in-one Prizes (donated by Beaver Travel Center). Businesses can also grab promotional Tee Signs available at $30 for one or $50 for two. How Does Small Talk Create Networking Bonds?

Have you ever met someone who launched right into a sales pitch? “Who does your printing? Are you happy? I can do better!” How did that make you feel?

By starting with small talk, people gain an understanding of who you are, what interests you, and how you spend your time. And you learn the same about them.

Small talk is like the warm up before the work out. It is the foundation of the KNOW in Know, Like & Trust. Through this foundation people gain a sense of whether they LIKE you. In fact, studies have shown that in just a few minutes of chitchat, people start to decide whether or not they TRUST you, too.
