White goods processing is about more than just shredding material down. It’s about creating a cleaner, more recoverable output stream from the start.

In this demo, the M&J 4000M 8 Knife was used for shredding and separation of white goods, while the onboard cross belt magnet helped separate foam and ferrous metal to produce a cleaner, milspec-ready product.

If you’re looking to improve white goods recovery or downstream material quality, let’s connect

Look at this beauty gearing up for its first full day of compost screening in Wyoming.

The first EcoStar NHEXA in the U.S. is officially up and running after setup, operator training, and production testing to get the team comfortable with the unit.

Now it’s time to get to work.

Excited to see this machine out in the field doing what it was built to do.

1,000 lb bale shredded in under 5 minutes.

This timelapse condenses the entire process into 30 seconds, showing the M&J M4000 12 Knife transforming a dense bale into a versatile material stream ready for downstream separation. The goal: liberate the hard outer shell, create stringy fibers, and separate the fibers from the hurd for further processing.

From here, the material would run over an Ecostar system to create multiple usable fractions:
• Light fraction repurposed into concrete applications
• Mid fraction with strong fibrous recovery potential
• Oversized fraction compacted into roofing tiles

One bale. Multiple end markets.
That’s what smarter front-end material preparation looks like. The future of recycling is creating more usable outputs from the same incoming material stream and it starts here.

If you’re exploring new recovery pathways or looking to improve downstream efficiency, let’s connect.

Across the industry, we’re seeing a major shift toward AI-driven sorting, automation, real-time system monitoring, and advanced recovery technologies designed to improve purity, reduce labor dependency, and optimize performance. We saw it firsthand at IFAT this year through the innovations our partners continue bringing to market.

The facilities investing in smarter technology today are positioning themselves for stronger recovery, better operational efficiency, and long-term resilience in an increasingly demanding market.

The industry is evolving quickly and we’re excited to work alongside partners that continue pushing it forward.

See It Run Before You Buy It.

The best way to evaluate equipment is on your own material, under real operating conditions. Our demo and rental fleet gives you the ability to test throughput, separation performance, and system fit before making a capital investment.

From shredding and screening to full-system trials, we help facilities make decisions with confidence.

A piece of rebar like this shows up in your waste stream… what happens next?

Something you’ll see regularly in C&D, and something that can bring production to a stop in the wrong system.

In this case, it didn’t.

The material passed through, was removed downstream by the magnet, and operations continued without interruption.

No damage. No extended downtime.

What if your shredder could save energy while it runs?

ReCapture is built into M&J e-drive systems to transfer energy from one motor to the other during shaft reversals—helping deliver up to 25% added energy savings. Lower operating costs, smarter power use, and a reduced carbon footprint, all while maintaining the performance M&J is known for.

It’s the kind of innovation that adds up day after day.

Want to learn what M&J e-drive with ReCapture could look like in your operation? Reach out to the eFACTOR3 team.
