The stage is set and the talent is incredible! 🚀
This Thursday marks the launch of the Young Entrepreneur Initiative at the Downtown Chico Thursday Night Market, and we couldn't be more excited to introduce you to six of the student businesses joining us this year.
From handmade ceramics to vintage finds and live-prepared treats, these young professionals are bringing their A-game to downtown Chico.
✨ Meet the Class of 2026:
Oscar Polson | Drop Vintage: A true veteran of the program! Returning for his 3rd year, Oscar is bringing a curated collection of vintage shirts and unique wearables. 👕
Isle Oritt | I.K.O. Ceramics: Elevate your home with Isle’s beautiful handmade pottery, including mugs, vases, flower frogs, and delicate jewelry dishes. ☕🏺
Aaron Rubio | 530 Enchilados: Coming all the way from Corning! Aaron will be preparing his signature Mexican candy—mixing chamoy with sour gummies, Skittles, and peach rings—right at the market. 🍬🔥
Violet Brooks | Fruit Basket: Add some flair to your outfit with Violet’s stunning, hand-sculpted polymer clay earrings and necklaces. 🎨👂
Nick Plowman & Josephine | Threads + Treasures: This creative duo has teamed up to offer a huge variety, from seed-beaded ornaments and jewelry to crocheted stuffed animals and ceramic dishware. 🧶✨
Kayla Tyson | Petal and Paste: Looking for some wearable art? Kayla will be on-site performing beautiful, intricate henna art for market-goers. 🌿🖋️
