Friends, please join me on Thursday!
------------------
Dr. Lisa Duty and the America 250–Ohio Commission are launching a new webinar series called Future Ohio 2076 Public Forums, in partnership with Columbus Futurists. The first session is titled “There Is No Such Thing as the Ohio Economy,” and will feature economist Bill LaFayette of Regionomics discussing the idea that Ohio’s economy is really a collection of regional economies shaped by industry, demographics, and emerging trends such as AI and workforce shifts.

Given the relevance of this conversation to community development professionals, planners, and community leaders across Ohio, we're sharing this opportunity with OCCD members and others.

The session is scheduled for:

Tariffs affect us all one way or another, both as businesses and cosumers. I am excited to be able to share some thoughts. Please join us!

Tariffs are back in the headlines. But what do they actually mean for businesses in our region?

Join the Columbus Chamber of Commerce for Talking Tariffs, a focused conversation breaking down trade policy into practical insights for business leaders.

Economist Bill LaFayette, Owner of Regionomics LLC will explore what tariffs are, why they’re being used, and how they may impact businesses locally and nationally.

If tariffs affect your industry—or could in the future—this is a conversation you won’t want to miss.
