The most powerful room in tech just met on the White House lawn.

Trump hosted Big Tech's biggest names Tuesday — handshakes, jokes about not recognizing the CEOs, and then all six signed his 'White House Accord on Super Intelligence,' a voluntary pact on AI safety and self-regulation.

The lineup:
Signed the accord — Sundar Pichai (Google), Dario Amodei (Anthropic), Mark Zuckerberg (Meta), Jensen Huang (Nvidia), Greg Brockman (OpenAI), Elon Musk (xAI).
Also in the room — Jeff Bezos (Amazon), Alex Karp (Palantir), Satya Nadella (Microsoft).

The moments that mattered:
1. East Room, then the West Wing lawn — Trump joked he didn't recognize the CEOs, then shook Huang's hand on camera.
2. The seating chart, per Truth Social: Huang to Trump's right, Musk to his left.
3. Trump ordered the U.S. government to call AI 'Super Intelligence' — not artificial intelligence — in official communications.

🚨 AI giants sued for slowing down AI.

Anthropic, OpenAI, SpaceXAI and Google face a class-action antitrust lawsuit filed Friday in San Francisco federal court, accusing them of illegally coordinating to slow AI development.

How it happened:
1️⃣ On Sept 12, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei published the essay "Pace the Frontier," calling for industry-wide coordination to decelerate AI progress
2️⃣ That same day, OpenAI's Sam Altman, SpaceXAI's Elon Musk and Google DeepMind's Demis Hassabis publicly agreed
3️⃣ The suit also cites a July 2026 statement signed by top AI-lab employees admitting "intense competitive pressure not to unilaterally slow"

The detail that matters: Amodei's own essay admits the plan "would require government mediation, or at least antitrust immunity." The four named plaintiffs — paying ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Gemini subscribers — are seeking triple damages under the Clayton Act.

"AI will quickly spin out of human control and could kill us all if we allow AI safety and protocol ... to be controlled by private self-serving agreements between the world's most powerful 'for profit' technology companies." — Nick Rowley, lead attorney for the plaintiffs

None of the four companies immediately responded to requests for comment.

For the first time, the slowdown debate has moved from essays to evidence — a federal court will decide whether safety coordination is collusion.
