🔨 Innovation meets craftsmanship.

Our Structures team does much more than fabricate materials—they help bring ideas to life before construction even begins.

Using tools like CNC wood carving, CNC plasma cutting, 3D printing, stud welding, and structural welding, they're creating everything from signs and templates to custom fabrication pieces and 3D project models.

These capabilities help our teams identify challenges early, reduce lead times, and keep projects moving forward. Whether it's supporting a major infrastructure project or creating a custom solution for the field, our Structures team is always finding ways to get the job done.

Check out some of the technology and talent that help make it all happen. 👏

Today we're taking a look back at one of Tucson's most iconic projects—the Diamondback Pedestrian Overpass.

Built to safely connect pedestrians across Broadway Boulevard, this award-winning bridge quickly became much more than infrastructure. Its unique diamondback rattlesnake design has made it a recognizable landmark and a source of pride for the Tucson community for years.

Projects like this remind us that great construction doesn't just move people—it helps create places people remember.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Morgan Alexander Julian, who was tragically killed in a car-motorcycle accident on May 30th.

He worked with our teams here at Hunter Contracting Co. in the capacity of Concrete Worker, Operator, Foreman, and early on was part of the Operator Apprentice Program.

Morgan was credentialed through the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PCRA), he was a credentialed bull rider and created many relationships in the rodeo community.

He leaves behind a loving family, and he will be deeply missed.

Last week, some of our 2026 Summer Interns got an inside look at how reinforced concrete pipe is made during a tour of Rinker Materials with Letitia Cannataro and Joe McCarthy.

A huge thank you to Adrianna Lash for showing our interns around and sharing her knowledge about the manufacturing process and the many career opportunities available in the construction industry.

We love giving our interns opportunities to see firsthand how the materials and people behind the scenes help bring projects to life.

🎉 Happy Friday! 🎉

Nothing says “welcome to the team” quite like a surprise Dutch Bros run! ☕💙

We’re excited to have our newest interns spending the summer with us at Hunter Contracting. Over the coming months, they’ll gain hands-on experience, learn from industry professionals, and get a firsthand look at how infrastructure projects help build stronger communities across Arizona.

For now, we’re kicking things off with caffeine, smiles, and a great team photo.

Please join us in welcoming our interns to the Hunter family! 👏

Big recognition for an incredible team effort. 👏

As part of National Public Works Week, the City of Flagstaff — alongside Hunter Contracting Co. and Jacobs Engineering Group, Phoenix — was recognized as an American Public Works Association Top Ten National Award Winner for the Inner Basin Emergency Repair Project in Flagstaff, Arizona. 🏆

This project represents what can happen when agencies, engineers, and construction teams come together with a shared commitment to restoring critical infrastructure and serving the community when it matters most.

We’re honored to be part of a project that helped protect and restore vital water infrastructure for the residents of Flagstaff.

Congratulations to everyone involved in making this achievement possible! 🙌
