Today was a proud business owner moment. ❤️

I’m on an Alaskan cruise with very limited cell service, and a few things came up that needed to be handled.

Two deals closed via text and needed to be turned in. I delegated them to Jasmine—done.

I donated a raffle basket for the Gilbert Chamber and delegated it to Sharon—done in one day.

I needed my Meritum logo sent to a business I’m sponsoring. I couldn’t access it from the ship, but I knew Karin had it because of all the things we do together. I reached out, and she immediately helped me out—done.

Then Tina had a few things of mine that needed to be printed, approved, etc. I delegated them to her, and she told me, “Don’t worry about it. I have it. Be present on your trip.”

So I listened. 😂

I enjoyed my tour. I was present. I had a great time. And when I was done… everything was taken care of.

To some, this may seem like a small thing. To a business owner who has spent years feeling like everything depends on her, this felt HUGE.

Today reminded me why relationships and power partners matter so much in business. It’s not just about referrals or doing business together. It’s about building relationships and trust with people who will step up when you need them.

I’m incredibly proud and grateful for my Meritum team—and for the amazing people I’ve built relationships with along the way. ❤️

Maybe the biggest lesson for me? Delegate. Trust. And then actually BE PRESENT.

Today, I did all three. And it felt pretty damn good. 🥰

That small detail matters.

Take a minute to check what customers actually see after they pay and make sure your team knows how to explain it if someone calls with a question.
