Kansas City's first hard freeze is on the way. ❄️ Before it gets here, disconnect your garden hoses, open the cabinet doors under sinks on outside walls, and know where your main water shutoff is. If a pipe bursts anyway, call us at (816) 463-4959. We'll have a crew there in 45 minutes, day or night.

Colder weather is here! Don't forget to disconnect your garden hoses from water spigots! Leaving the hose connected causes water to stay in the spigot and can break once temperatures get cold enough, leading to flood damage and extensive repairs.

With frost free spigots, if you do happen to forget and spring time comes, make sure you turn the water on slowly and check to see if water is leaking into the house or crawl space. If this is happening shut the valve off and contact us or reach out to your local plumber to get it replaced.

Most of the mitigation issues we run into require a plumber to come and fix the source, whether that be sump pump, sewer backup, or some sort of leaking supply line. We are currently offering $300 towards plumbing repairs when you sign up to use our services. You can use any plumber you prefer, or we can recommend one of the plumbing companies that we use on a regular basis.

Recently finished a job for a customer out in Bates City. Septic backed up all throughout the basement. Homeowner called us and had already filed a claim. We worked directly with the customers insurance adjuster to ensure the customer was covered and to ensure that they customer wouldn’t have any out of pocket expenses. Got approval and started the mitigation process. We had to use our go to dumpster company Right-Way Rolloff&Dumpster Services to get all the debris out. During the demolition we recommend a rebuild company, OKM Construction Pros and get them in the process with the insurance to get the customer an accurate rebuild estimate. As you can see, in the end, it looks like nothing ever happened!
