Because healthcare has built-in shields. It’s harder to track, ownership is often hidden, and the damage shows up as surprise bills, denials, and long waits instead of one loud public meltdown.

Consolidation also happens quietly, buying up clinics and practices bit by bit. Patients have fewer real choices, but the system still pretends it’s a
“free market.”

And yes, there are some legal cases, but not nearly at the speed or scale this crisis deserves.
If we can protect fans from corporate control, we can protect patients, too.
